In Dar Tair we want you to have an unique and enjoyable experience that will make you smile when you remember your visit to Essaouira.

Dar Tair means the House of the Bird in Arabic, and this house reflects our desire to show elegance, attention to detail and authenticity.

Throughout our Riad you will find details that matter to us. Like the fact that many of the tiles are over two centuries old and made and drawn by hand Therefore, you cannot find them anywhere else!

On the ground floor you'll find two comfortable bedrooms seperated by the Riad's first living room. There is room for three people on this level to sleep.

The first floor has an authentic, localy styled and lively combination with the dining area, a second living room, the third bedroom including a spacious bathroom. ~

These two floors are connected by what we call the “Shower of Light” — the open-roof central patio at the heart of the riad.

Finally the sunny terrace is the highlight of the Riad, that offers a cozy and commodius bedroom. Along with a stunning and unobstraced view on the ocean, as the Riad is situated on the rampards. Here you can enjoy the warm rays of the sun, while listening to the birds and feeling the cool breeze coming from the ocean. During the evening you can experience the beautiful sunsets of Essaouira.
