To clarify for future guests, this is not a duplex or townhouse-style property. It is a private, single-family lakefront home. The neighboring home is completely separate and privately occupied, with the only connection being the upstairs game room along the north wall of the upstairs game room. Both homes have their own separate entrances and living spaces. For guests staying at Lakefront Retreat, there is a sign on the wall, and, as stated in the very detailed description, the entrance to your home and your covered parking are immediately to the right when entering the property from the driveway. The shared driveway entrance, separate homes, parking locations, and instructions for keeping the circular driveway clear are all specifically disclosed in the listing. We understand that arriving after dark can make a property unfamiliar at first, but we do our best to provide clear information in advance so guests know exactly what to expect. As a lake property we keep the lights off at night to prevent our guests and the home from being inundated with lake flies, june bugs, and mosquitos upon their arrival. We also appreciate you bringing the shower drain to our attention. We take maintenance and guest safety seriously and will have it inspected and addressed.
