We had a great relaxing stay! The host was very responsive and helpful. If you are cooking larger meals you may want to bring a larger pot or a crock pot since the pot that is there is on the smaller side. The oven air fry setting works great as a toaster! We also got to see a bear with her 2 cubs in the woods behind the cabin one evening. The hot tub and deck were probably our favorite parts about the cabin. We also loved that it was a semi secluded area and was quiet minus when there were vehicles driving by. It’s a great location and would visit again!

Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, I've called Colorado home since 2006. Since then, I've embraced all the state has to offer, including hiking, mountain and road biking, snowboarding, camping, fishing, professional sports, concerts and four beautiful and unique seasons.

Why they chose this property

It's quiet, but not too far "out there." Enjoy all the benefits of a secluded home (especially the night sky!) while still being close to Alma and its small-town amenities. The house is perfectly situated between Fairplay and Breckenridge and offers incredibly easy access to hiking and fishing areas.

What makes this property unique

The aspen trees! They surround the property and are visible from every window. And the house is very family-friendly. It's stocked with cribs, a high chair, changing table and gates so you don't need to worry about bringing those items from home.
