Beautiful house and property! Right on Lake Java, the view from many windows on the back of the house was so lovely, so peaceful! A chef's kitchen with gas stove (did not use the oven, but it looked immaculately clean and professional grade. Coffee maker, toaster, great knives, table ware... There was one bedroom, a second bed in a nook off the living area. Both were comfortable with clean linens and attractive bedspreads and pillows. There was a TV...,I didnt use it so I cannot speak to it or internet. Even a guitar...a nice guitar! and it was even in tune. I love attention to detail like that! Refrigerator and freezer were perfect. The place looks unassuming from the street, but inside, the cathedral ceiling, the wood walls, the light , makes it feel spacious. Didn't use the wood stove, but imagine it woulld be nice for an Autumn or Winter retreat. The bathroom was charming-rustic as well...decorator sink, the jetted tub was great, the shower great. Towels... The back yard was lovely- used the picnic table and the fire pit (found large bundles of wood for sale for 4. or three for 10. down the main road a mile or so. Used the canoe and enjoyed the lake, Swam in the lake as well...water pretty green and murky when I was there, but was great to cool off in the 95 degree weather we had in July. It was the week after July 4th...the community was quiet, peaceful. the neighbor was so friendly and nice to chat with. I would return.
