Whether it’s the Kontor Room, the Hansen Loft, a double room with a view of the Schlei or the countryside, or a single room—no two rooms are alike, and each one captivates with its own unique features. Whether it’s floor-to-ceiling windows, original walls, a sink in the living area, or one of our quaint attic rooms: “Small but mighty” is the motto at the Südspeicher. And you can always count on these amenities: an incredibly comfortable bed with Laroma mattresses, a flat-screen TV, a safe, a bathroom with a shower and a hair dryer, custom-made wooden furniture, Danish design pieces, and plenty of Speicher charm.

The so-called “floors” (levels) are full of surprises. So you’ll never get bored, even after staying with us several times. 

Just for the record: Wi-Fi and a tea station in our lounge are included in the room rate. As a hotel guest, you’re welcome to book our delicious breakfast buffet at the front desk for €19.50 per person.

Right in the heart of Kappeln’s historic centre, you’ll get the perfect start to your day—whether it’s with a bike ride or sightseeing tour, a stroll through the old town, or simply relaxing while watching the sails of the fishing boats from the spacious outdoor area of our bistro. In the evening, you’ll retreat to our stylishly furnished rooms, which exude the charm of a historic grain silo dating back to 1939—authentic, cosy, and equipped with everything your heart desires.

The Südspeicher retains its original character; it has been lovingly modernised yet still exudes the historic charm that makes it a special place—for the perfect moment and the perfect experience.

We provide a thorough room cleaning every two days.

Relax in the wellness area in the basement, featuring a sauna and relaxation room. This area can be reserved exclusively for a fee—including water, tea, fruit, and a dressing gown. It accommodates up to 4 people.
