The Space:

Tucked deep in the Smoky Mountains yet minutes from some of Western North Carolina's best outdoor adventures, this sunlit cabin is your basecamp for exploring — and your retreat for unwinding. Switch on the gas fireplace and settle into the living room, with its vaulted ceiling, well-equipped full kitchen, dining table for four, and comfortable living space with a TV provided through Dish Network. Step through the sliding glass doors onto the expansive wraparound deck with a gas grill and outdoor table for al fresco dining after a day on the water or the trail. Right outside, you'll find a firepit for evening stories and a swing set for the kids.

The Neighborhood:

This cabin sits in a secluded, private spot completely surrounded by nature, bordered by National Forest land, but you're never far from the action. Whitewater rafting and kayaking await three miles away at the Nantahala Outdoor Center, and Fontana Lake public access is just a mile out for fishing, boating, or a lazy afternoon on the water. Trout fishing spots dot the surrounding rivers and streams for anglers of all levels. Mountain bikers will love the proximity to the Tsali Recreation Area, home to some of the Southeast's best singletrack. When you're ready to slow down, downtown Bryson City offers local shops, museums, and historical sites, all just a short drive from your private mountain hideaway.

We added this cabin to our list to come back to. It was the perfect size and tucked away nicely. The swings for the kiddos were a plus! The view from the deck is amazing, especially with a cup of coffee first thing in the morning.

Wonderful cabin in the woods

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful cabin in the mountains. We would absolutely stay here again any time. the owners were wonderful and easy to communicate with. The view is AMAZING and the cabin is so nice.

Very spacious and comfortable property, the deck was wonderful! The drive up the hill is a steep gravel road, so a consideration for wintertime.

Very cute and cozy

We loved our stay at the happy top cabin. The cabin was very clean and very cute. We would definitely stay here again! Only thing was there was a huge yellow jacket nest under the back deck on the right side and my son and I got stung a couple times on our first day. But other than that everything was amazing!!

Great little cabin

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a great time. We brought along our 3 children and it was an awesome place for kids to run around outside. Very clean. The driveway is steep at the very top but if you hang to the far left you can avoid the big potholes. Our minivan did it just fine.

The cabin hits all the high marks. It has a beautiful unobstructed view and it was clean and has all the conveniences of home. It is minutes from Tsali mountain bike trails and whitewater rafting at Nantahala outdoor center. You can also get on Lake Fontana paddle boarding or rent a boat. There is something for everyone, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Lovely location

The cabin was bright and airy and we loved the location. Most enjoyed spending time on the deck with mountain views and beautiful forest surrounds. Easy accessibility to the NOC and Bryson City was great too. Cabin was well outfitted with all the necessities and very clean. The one suggestion for improvement would be more supportive beds/mattresses as we struggled to get comfy on those provided. Even so, overall had a lovely time and would return to the cabin. Thank you!

Great little private cabin!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here! Very clean and cozy and all amenities:) You will not be disappointed. There is a gravel road up to the cabin that can be steep in spots so I would recommend bringing your awd vehicle just in case. Once you are settled in however, the cabin has tremendous views and there is great coffee shop about 5 mins from the cabin(cardinal coffee). Downtown Bryson City is about a 15 min drive so it's quite close with restaurants, pubs and shops for all different tastes. You will not be disappointed !

Spring Break

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The cabin is very quaint and location ideal - close to town but still feels secluded. The way the company communicates via text/call center isn’t something that impressed me. Two of the issues that I reported never got addressed. I’d certainly come back, but it would be nice to have a local in-town agency/contact person for assistance.

Didn’t have sheets for the pullout sofa….contacted customer service over and over and over and just got generic replies…. Kid had to sleep on sofa two nights no sheets… Happy Birthday!
