The highlight of the holiday home area are the two bathing lakes, which are exclusively available to the owners and guests of the houses. Wiefelstede, with its 800 hectare forest area, is the most wooded community in Ammerland and is known above all for its many rhododendrons, which bloom in the most wonderful colors. In the small town of Gristede, halfway between Wiefelstede and the Zwischenahner Meer, lies the Rhododendron Park, which is known far beyond its borders. A wide range of sports and leisure activities as well as the proximity to the Zwischenahner Meer and the North Sea coast have created a small holiday paradise here.
