The drive takes you along the island’s famous tree-lined avenue and ends in the heart of the small village of Poseritz. Nestled on a hillside in a quiet side street, our modern interpretation of a tiny house awaits you, surrounded by old ash trees. The “cabins”—are part of our “Mühle” apartment retreat. They stand out for their simple, minimalist architecture. Only larch wood siding breaks up the clean, elongated white facade.
Facing southwest, the houses open up with large, floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of the lush, nearly secluded grounds. Inside, the contrast becomes apparent—here, the compact exterior dimensions leave no room for concerns about a lack of space. The 50-square-meter interior is flooded with light and perfectly tailored to the needs of a long stay.
The clean and cosy rooms are decorated in subtle colours. The furnishings stand on their own in each room, complemented only by select details and strategic lighting. Additional pops of colour come from the large windows, whose views change with the seasons, ensuring a pleasant getaway on the island of Rügen even on days with inclement weather.

• 2-room holiday home with 50 square metres of living space and a 25-square-meter terrace
• Living area: kitchen island with seating, cosy corner sofa (sleeps one), 47-inch Ambilight Smart TV, Netflix account, Sonos speaker with Deezer account, external blinds, floor-to-ceiling windows, and direct access to the terrace
• Kitchen: Fully equipped kitchen with oven, induction cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso capsule machine, and small dining table
• Bedroom: 160 cm box-spring bed, built-in closets, Smart TV, SONOS speaker, external blinds, blackout curtains, floor-to-ceiling windows, and direct access to the terrace
