About this property

Mountain Top Glamping Retreat | 180 Private Acres

Escape to your own private mountaintop retreat. Perched on a rocky ridge and surrounded by 180 acres of wilderness, the King of the Mountain Safari Tent offers stunning views, incredible stargazing, and unmatched privacy. Enjoy the comforts of solar power, a refrigerator, and an electric cooktop while exploring trails, streams, and ponds throughout the property. The perfect blend of adventure, solitude, and comfort.

The King of the Mountain Safari Tent sits atop a rocky ridge with sweeping views of the surrounding mountains and forest. Located on 180 private acres with only three campsites on the entire property, you`ll enjoy exceptional privacy and direct access to trails, streams, ponds, and endless opportunities to explore.

This spacious safari tent comfortably sleeps up to four guests with a queen bed and two additional cots. Please bring your own sheets, blankets, pillows, and other bedding.

Unlike traditional camping, the tent is equipped with solar power, providing interior lighting, two electrical outlets for charging devices, a refrigerator, and an electric cooktop. Outside, you`ll find a covered deck, picnic table, hammock, charcoal grill, and a private fire pit perfect for evenings under the stars. We`ll provide your first bundle of firewood, and additional wood can often be gathered from the surrounding property.

A composting toilet and rainwater collection system are available onsite. Please note that the water is non-potable, so guests should bring their own drinking and cooking water.

The drive to the campsite is steep and rugged. A high-clearance 4WD vehicle is strongly recommended for driving directly to the site.

Pets are welcome. Wildlife, insects, and changing weather conditions are all part of the mountain experience, making this the perfect destination for guests seeking a genuine connection with nature while still enjoying a few modern comforts.
