Load and start the dishwasher

Strip any used beds and gather used towels

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights and lock the doors

Contact me prior or close to arrival, so I can give you the keypad code. Keypad is on the back (kitchen) door. Driveway is behind the home with 3 parking spaces available.

All trash must be placed outside in the trash can/recycle bin, and emptied in all rooms. Please remove all used linens (bedding) and towels, and place in bathtub. Make-up towels are provided.

Early check-in and late check-out is $10 per hour, and may be accommodated if the home is available. Please do not throw away washcloths or towels, as charges will occur.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

The inside definately does not match the outside! Im told this is normal for Pittsburgh, lol! We LOVED our stay being so close to downtown. The pictures are absolutely accurate. Immaculate inside with ALL of the conveniences you would every need- fully stocked kitchen, dishwasher, front porch and back patio, with ample seating. Toiletries and towels. Extra comforters/linen, etc. - beds were very comfortable. While the vrbo management team through evolve was easy to book and work with, it was being able to communicate with the owner which made all the difference. If I find myself in Pittsburgh again I will definately book here. Btw, my 87 year old mother, who is very particular, says 2 thumbs up!

Overall okay, everything but communication was poor, great at first with the check in, but after asking why the WiFi was not working , radio silence. Someone(maybe a previous guest) smeared the last 3 digits of the password away. No word the next day or following the whole stay. Vrbo emailing me to review, is the last communication I got for this visit.

Nice and quiet stay close to downtown

Property was well-appointed and communication with the host was easy. Location afforded quick Uber rides to downtown convention area and was very convenient.

This is a great house for spending a long weekend in Pittsburgh! The house was clean and had everything we needed. The neighbors is safe and quiet. We met some of the neighbors and everyone was nice and were happy to give us recommendations. We would definitely stay here! Thank you for thinking all of the little things we may have forgot to pack.

Cute spot very close to downtown

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay here! The house was clean and the host was very responsive. We were never more than a 15 minute Uber away from downtown. I highly recommend!

This host was very sweet on initial contact... Family in town for graduation, but our home couldn't compensate room for our guests so we booked here. All hard and soft surfaces upon entry and exit were sanitized with supplies personally purchased and left for later use. Place cleaned up well, but some items weren't placed exactly where they were originally- i apologize! I later received texts/accusations about neighbors "smelling weed", AND a "missing pillow, blanket, and towel". To follow- photos of a jacket and cosmetic jewelry my neice left with the blanket in a pile. Followed by 2 outdoor clips of the "missing blanket" being used ON property . I explained that all used linen was combined and placed in a bag on the 2nd floor. I was asked to send money via zelle or pay pal for replacement with a link for an item that was not even comparable to anything of question when clearly the proof was sent via the host! To top it off... we discarded 4 TIED personalized trash bags and placed them in a secure trash bin provided by the host at the edge of the property and on said property cameras. Being very mindful to place the one containing food scent on the very bottom. Sent photos of one clearly UNTIED bag said to have been "destroyed by pests" that displayed a juice soiled towel and cleaning cloth on top that had been moved to the concrete section of the property of which has to be at least 50 ft from said provided receptacle. Overall, there was a great time amongst each other.

Great Stay!!

We stayed two nights for a concert and the place was perfect. Great spaces for sleeping and had many different items in the house that were essentials for staying the night! We had a large vehicle and parking was a little narrow but other than that it was a great place to stay.

This was my first home I purchased when I was young, so I’ve always kept special care of it, as it holds a special place in my heart! I love providing a very clean and cozy home, especially in the most unique part of the city! I think you will love this home just as much as I do!

Why they chose this property

Mt. Washington makes our city stand out amongst others. It sit above the city, with a one minute walk behind the house to the breathtaking city views in Grandview Park! This is the best place to stay when visiting, as you are very close to everything downtown, nestled inside a great community! The neighbors are wonderful, and always welcoming to my guests if they happen to see them! Close to the bus line and T and always available Uber close-by!
