About this property

Montana’s Hidden Mile: Forest Trails, River Days, and Star‑Filled Nights

Stay wild, stay central — Montana’s greatest landscapes and history within reach.

OUTA Last Mile is more than a cabin — it’s your private gateway to the best of Western Montana. Tucked deep in the Bill Creek drainage yet only minutes from I‑90, this secluded retreat gives you the rare combination of true wilderness privacy with easy access to Montana’s most iconic destinations.

Perfectly Positioned Between Two National Parks
Spend your days exploring the legendary landscapes of the West and return each night to quiet forest and star‑heavy skies.
- Glacier National Park — just under 3 hours north
- Yellowstone National Park — 5 hours south

Guests love using OUTA Last Mile as a peaceful home base between park days — no crowds, no noise, just the Montana people dream about.

Adventure in Every Direction — All Close By
You don’t have to go far to fill your days. Within minutes of the cabin, you’ll find:
- Lazy float trips on the Clark Fork River
- Whitewater rafting in the Alberton Gorge
- Horseback riding through classic Montana terrain
- ATV riding trails and miles of National Forest access
- Hiking straight from the property into quiet ridgelines and creek drainages
- Ghost Towns to tour
- Hiking to hidden lakes nearby

Whether you’re chasing adrenaline or craving stillness, this location gives you both.

Sunsets That Stop You in Your Tracks
Just above the cabin, the sky opens into a panoramic ridge that catches the last light of the day. Gold, rose, and deep violet spill across the treetops while the valley settles into quiet. It’s the kind of sunset that makes you forget your phone exists.

A True Montana Experience — Without the Crowds
Float the river, explore the parks, ride the trails, or simply sit by the propane fire pit under a sky full of stars. OUTA Last Mile gives you the Montana most travelers never find — wild, peaceful, and deeply restorative.

Such a great cabin. The owner had the nicest extra touches, a coffee mug, goat soap and chairs in the little creek waiting. Loved it! Wish we could have stayed longer

The cabin is tucked away in the woods, perfect to get a rest and peace and quiet. The communication with the host was great. Everything was clean and tidy. We used this property to start a week of vacation in Montana, it was a great start. I would definitely recommend this to friends and will be looking for the next opportunity to stay here again.
