rustige familievakantie

Pros: Niet zo ver rijden, stuk minder toeristisch dan in de Belgische Ardennen maar toch vlakbij mooie wandelplaatsjes. Het meertje 'Etang de la Motte' viel bij de kinderen erg in de smaak. Enkele fijne vakantie-uitstappen gedaan naar Chimay, Rocroi, Charlevilles Mezieres en Sedan, de bunker van Hitler in Couvin Cons: Het tuintje was niet zo gezellig, ik miste een parasol, een comfortabele ligstoel. De petanquebaan miste ballen en was overgroeid. Jammer want het heeft het potentieel om er iets moois en gezelligs van te maken.

Pros: Huisje had alles wat je nodig had. Genoeg potten en pannen. Zelf bakvormen als je graag zou een cake bakken. Wij waren er met onze tweeling van nog geen 1,5 jaar. We konden zonder probleem twee bedjes in onze kamer plaatsen en konden nog vlot passeren. Er was ook wat speelgoed aanwezig waarmee ze zich konden bezighouden. Wij hadden voor onszelf gezelschapsspelletjes mee en waren hiermee blij want er waren enkel kaarten aanwezig anders. Ik was ook blij dat er een stofzuiger in de badkamer stond die we konden gebruiken nadat de kinderen gegeten hadden. Vlot contact met de eigenares ook al was mijn Frans niet zo goed. Goede parking bij de deur. Wij gaven onze bagage aan elkaar door het raam. Dit ging het snelst en zo maakten we het niet te vuil door telkens binnen en buiten te lopen. Biertje waar er posters van ophangen is ook nog lekker. Makkelijk te verkrijgen in de supermarkt in de buurt. Ook een goede bakker om de hoek. Cons: We hadden slecht weer. Helaas. Het huisje is rustig gelegen maar ligt niet echt in een erg toeristische streek, maar wel een mooie streek. Er staat een Senseo in de keuken (en ook een gewoon koffiezetapparaat). Mijn vriend drinkt graag nu en dan een koffie, maar geen hele kan. Dus dan is Senseo wel goed, alleen hebben we dat thuis niet. Dus moest dit speciaal gekocht worden en was de helft van de zak voor ons wat verloren. Deze negatieve puntjes zijn dus wel echt verwaarloosbaar.
