Come enjoy the Montgomery, VT in any of the four seasons and have a relaxing weekend at our private guest cabin in the woods. A brook flows through the backyard, providing a peaceful natural backdrop and a stone outdoor fire pit for great campfire fun. The main floor bedroom has 1 queen bed and the loft has 1 queen and 1 twin. There is also a living room couch. Just 5 min to town, 15-20min to Jay Peak! Use our vouchers for discount lift tickets! **We recently added “The Loft” listing on the other side of the same property**

After spending 10 years in Tokyo, Japan, I decided to take some time away to travel, volunteer and explore the world of organic farming and permaculture. I recently came back to the east coast, settling down in Montgomery Center, Vermont and am loving being surrounded by nature.
Why they chose this property
I grew up in a town called Longmeadow, Massachusetts. As kids, we would travel to New Hampshire for camping and exploring the woods, lakes and rivers. I stumbled upon Montgomery and Jay, VT as an adult and love the peacefulness, as well as the fun activities throughout all four seasons.
What makes this property unique
This property is unique because its off the beaten path, about 6 minutes into town, and has a beautiful brook and waterfalls running through it. Its fun for kids as well with a yard to run around, a swingset, a lofted bed area kids like and a firepit for warmth around the fire at night.
