Appartement Lilliput - Holzwerk Oybin

Lilliput is our newest addition. It has everything you need—just on a smaller scale. If you’ve ever thought about living in a tiny house, this is a great place to get a taste of what it’s like. That’s why we’d like to attract young guests and those who are young at heart. With the large terrace, you feel like you’re right in nature, and Mount Oybin is right nearby. Of course, we’ve tried it out ourselves, and our conclusion is: it works, but you can’t take up hobbies that require a lot of space. That’s how I got back into knitting. I think my jumper will be finished by Christmas. I’ve decided to take my knitting supplies with me everywhere I go. So, if you happen to come across an elderly lady with knitting supplies somewhere in the house, that’s not our house spirit—it’s me (Ms. Kiwitz-Wowra). Although I am the good house spirit, after all!

Our holiday complex is located directly next to the narrow-gauge railway and Mount Oybin, featuring a 1-hectare garden and situated just 400 metres from the Oybin terminus. In our Holzwerk Oybin, we have furnished 6 unique, country-style apartments. The Römerlager, Königszimmer, Himmelreich, Storchennest, and Schorn apartments are accessible via a staircase. The building itself is 250 years old and was once a sawmill, hence the name Holzwerk. We have renovated the building in a sustainable and eco-friendly manner. The “Römerlager,” “Königszimmer,” “Himmelreich,” “Schorn,” and “Storchennest” apartments each feature a fireplace and modern bathrooms. Two apartments (“Storchennest” and “Himmelreich”) have a hot tub available for guests’ use. The garden is always available for our guests to relax, play, have a barbecue, and more. For guests of all ages, there’s a trampoline, a badminton net, and a sandy sunbathing area. Breakfast and dinner can only be booked on-site at



. On-site costs: The “Storchennest” and “Himmelreich” rooms each feature a whirlpool. Towels and bed linens are included in the price. Children up to 4 years old stay for free. Parking and Wi-Fi are free of charge.



Check-in is from 2:30 PM to 7:00 PM, and check-out is from 8:15 AM to 11:00 AM.
