Walk to the sea and spend wonderful days swimming, sunbathing and playing on the beautiful sandy beach in summer. In spring and autumn, let the wind blow around your nose during a walk on the beach. During a guided mudflat hike you can learn all about the animals and plants in the Wadden Sea as well as the storm tides on the Halligen and the interaction of high and low tide. Ferries depart from the harbor in Dagebüll to the islands of Föhr and Amrum, both a worthwhile destination for a day trip.
