Had a great stay, the host was very flexible with check in and check out and also very easy to communicate with and very responsive. Would recommend!

Location was great. The Q subway entrance who was just a block away. Decent restaurants, nearby and safe area. Beds were comfy. Check-in was terrible. Wrong address is given on the app. Our cab driver had driven away so we had to walk. Not great with an 80 year old with bad knees. When I contacted host about this, he said it was for security reasons because someone had kept the key and broke in and stole people’s property. He usually sends a text with the correct address, but forgot. Not a good mistake to make. We found the hairdryer did not work, there was no soap or shampoo as promised in the amenity list, no hand towels, no washcloths, no dish cloth or towel. We were unable to plug in the microwave because it was on top of the refrigerator. The next-door neighbor had a dog that barked and wined all night. The host did respond to our complaints and delivered said items needed with in 24 hours.. And the toilet pipes shot out water every time you flushed. He did get a plumber there to fix that. There was only one garbage can in the unit and no place to hang the toilet paper or a hand towel in bathroom It wouldn’t cost much to make this stay more comfortable.

The price and location were good. It’s up 4 flights of steps, which was not a problem. Deli right on the corner for easy breakfast or lunch sandwiches. Overall a good experience. Bathroom is very small, but it’s NYC. Shower had great water pressure and hot water. 👍
