The “Waldecker Land” holiday rental is located in a two-family home in a quiet residential area on the outskirts of the village of Höringhausen in the Waldeck district. The holiday apartment is on the ground floor, measures approximately 80 square metres, and can accommodate up to 4 people plus a toddler (a cot is available). The apartment includes a patio with outdoor furniture in front of the house. A parking space for guests is available on the property. You must bring your own bed linens and towels.
The living room is furnished with a large table that seats up to 6 people, a cosy leather corner sofa, and a smart TV.
From the living room, you can step out onto the loggia, where you can relax and enjoy the morning sun.
In the bedroom, you’ll find a double bed, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers, and a shelf.
The second bedroom features a bunk bed with a sleeping area measuring 90 x 200 cm on top and 140 x 200 cm on the bottom. A wardrobe offers plenty of space for your luggage.
The very well-equipped kitchen features a ceramic cooktop, sink, dishwasher, and refrigerator, as well as a microwave with a convection function.
A coffee maker, toaster, and electric kettle are, of course, also provided.
In the bathroom, you’ll find a large shower with a real glass enclosure, a lighted mirror, and a towel warmer for your towels.
Wi-Fi is included in the price.
A cot, high chair, children’s cutlery and dishes, and a changing table can be provided upon request.

Surrounded by beautiful nature and situated directly on the Ederseebahn Bike Trail, you’ll find peace and relaxation here. The holiday rental is an excellent starting point for excursions in the surrounding area. Lake Eder, with its impressive dam and countless recreational activities, is just a 10-minute drive away. Hike through the Kellerwald National Park, an UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site, featuring a family-friendly wildlife park and the informative treetop trail.
The historic old towns of Bad Arolsen and Fritzlar are just as worth seeing as the ski and tobogganing areas in Willingen or Winterberg, and Bad Wildungen with its famous healing springs.
In the village centre, just 850 metres away, you’ll find a village store with everyday essentials, an ATM, and a bike shop. From here, you can also easily take the bus to the “Goldstadt” (City of Gold) Korbach in just a few minutes. With its impressive half-timbered houses and unique gold-mining history, the Hanseatic city of Korbach is always worth a visit.
