A hallway—which is also used by other guests—connects the living and sleeping areas.<br><br>If you love the charm of half-timbered houses but don’t want to forgo modern amenities, we look forward to welcoming you.<br>The Accommodation<br>The living space offered here captivates with its historic charm without neglecting the need for modern amenities.<br><br>As soon as you enter the property through the classic courtyard of this inn, built in 1804, you can feel the historical significance of this special place. For over two centuries, guests have been welcomed at this house, located at a classic crossroads, and this tradition continues to this day.<br><br>The property features a total of 6 units, each comfortably accommodating 2 to 8 guests. With a maximum of 22 guests, however, you’ll never run the risk of encountering mass tourism here.<br><br>The apartment offered here is the inn’s showpiece and includes a large, fully equipped kitchen as well as the former fireplace room and parlour, which are directly adjacent to it. Many an evening has been spent in this room with its over 5-meter-high ceiling, many a drink raised, and many a heroic deed recounted. Today, in addition to the large TV, you’ll find a comfortable leather couch that converts into a bed and an extra bed. The dining table is also located here, continuing to serve as the focal point for shared moments in this apartment.<br><br>From the central living area, you can access the bedroom and bathroom via the common hallway, which is shared with other guests of the inn. The bedrooms sleep 2 or 3 people and, like the bathroom, can each be locked separately. Only the hallway is shared; the rooms themselves are not.
