The home looked like the photos, and the host was very nice and responsive throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the condition of the home made it extremely difficult to enjoy our weekend.The biggest issue was the smell. There was a horrendous, unusually foul odor throughout the house that was difficult to even describe. We opened windows hoping it would improve, but the smell never went away. There were also strange stains on the flooring, dead bugs in the closet, and we encountered spiders, beetles, and other bugs crawling throughout the home.For the price we paid, the condition of the property was extremely disappointing and, in my opinion, very overpriced. The issues were significant enough that half of our party ultimately refused to stay for the entire weekend.I want to emphasize that the host was kind and responsive, but unfortunately that did not make up for the condition of the property. Based on our experience, we would not stay here again or recommend it at the price we paid.
