Casa Vistamare, an affectionately restored historical building, lies very quietly in the Old Town of Falerna. The village itself is still originally Italian beyond the tourist paths and welcomes visitors friendly. Romantically with a lot of comfort the house offers 130 square metres of living space. About 30 square metre roof terrace, 40 square metres garden terrace and two balconies - all with view of the sea and in old fig trees- deliver additional space for feeling fine. A well equipped kitchen makes it easy to have fun with cooking...(If you want to) For days of just relaxing or days on the beach walking through a wonderful nature or sight seeing an ideal starting point. Travelling to different airports is possible.Arrival is possible via various airports. The hiring of cars can be done without problems.

Nice house with beautiful terraces

The house was very clean and spacious. It was very well equipped, we found everything we needed, and all was functioning well. We really enjoyed our short stay in this mountain village. We were received very well and got all tips we needed with respect to where to do shoppings, etc. The very nice aspect of this house are the nice terraces with see view. Very good relaxing in this quiet atmosphere. We would certainly rent once more if we stay in the area.

De superbes vacances

Un endroit au calme bien placé pour la Calabre. Il faut néanmoins être véhiculé pour aller à la plage. Merci aux propriétaires, Margret et Emilio, qui ont été très gentils et serviables tout au long de notre séjour. A refaire et n’hésitez pas à louer cette maison.

Individuelle Erlebnisse an der Thyrrenischen Küste

Die Wohnung ist großzügig und gut eingerichtet, besonders hervorheben möchten wir die 2 Terrassen, eine mit direktem Zugang zur Küche, die andere eine Dachterrasse mit Blick auf das Meer. Frau Zammarelli hat uns einige Insidertips gegeben, Danke dafür. Empfehlen können wir eine Wanderung mit Tommaso. Das absolute Highlight war allerdings ein 3 Gang Menü, welches Tommaso in unserer Küche für uns gekocht hat, Pasta und vor allem der Thunfisch war grandios.

Schönes Ferienhaus mit tollem Meerblick!

Alex M. München Sehr gepflegtes und sauberes Haus mit atemberaubendem Meerblick von der Dachterrasse. Wir (3 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder) waren im August/September für zwei Wochen im Ferienhaus. Empfehlenswert sind Ausflüge nach Pizzo, Tropea und Capo Vaticano. Sehr zu empfehlen, sind die Restaurants in der nähe vom Dorf! Einfach mit H. Zamarelli in Kontakt treten! Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der näheren Umgebung gibt es reichlich! das Meer ist türkisblau und toll für Schnorchel Ausflüge! Herr Zamarelli ist sehr freundlich und jederzeit für seine Gäste erreichbar! Ich selber hatte mein Motorrad dabei, Herr Zamarelli hat kurzfristig eine kleine Motorrad Tour in den Sila Nationalpark organisiert. Vielen Dank Emilio! Das Ferienhaus ist für Familien bestens geeignet! Die Leute im Dorf sind sehr hilfsbereit und Nett! Falerna wird uns sicherlich bald wiedersehen! Der Urlaub war Traumhaft!

Ein sehr schönes und sauberes Haus.

Das Haus ist ganz Modern und mit allem ausgestattet was eine Familie mit Kindern braucht. Man kann wunderbar mit 2 Familien drin wohnen und es hat trotzdem jeder seine Privatsphäre. Der Ort ist super, man bekommt alles was man braucht und die Leute sind sehr nett. Die Aussicht vom Haus aus ist Traumhaft. Familie Zamarelli ist sehr nett und Hilfsbereit und hat bei jeder Anfrage schnell geantwortet, daher können wir das Haus auf jedenfall weiter empfehlen.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus. Super Meerblick.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus. Eine traumhafte und ruhige Lage mit tollem Meerblick. Wir (2 Erwachsene und 1 Kind) haben im August 2015 für 14 Tage im Ferienhaus verbracht. Vom Haus aus kann man sehr schöne Touren unternehmen. Tropea, Amantea, Capo Vaticano oder ein großes Einkaufscenter in Catanzaro besuchen. Der Sila Nationalpark ist auch sehr sehenswert. Natürlich sollte man unbedingt über einen PKW verfügen. Die Anfahrt zum Haus ist etwas eng, aber mit einem Kleinwagen möglich. Wir hatten einen Renault Clio und konnten direkt vor dem Haus parken. Allerdings sollte man dazu schon Auto fahren können. Fahrzeit zum Meer beträgt 15 Minuten. Das Haus war sehr sauber und die Zimmer liebevoll eingerichtet. Ein traumhafter Blick von der Dachterrasse aus auf das Meer und die Küste. Die Stände sind sauber und das Wasser war türkisblau. Je nach Ebbe und Flut konnten wir sowohl Schnorcheln oder uns in den Wellen treiben lassen. Wer Ruhe möchte findet wenig besuchte Strände oder auch Lidos mit etwas mehr Besuchern. In Falerna kann man im Barracuda sehr gut essen. Im Supermarkt bekommt man alle nötigen Lebensmittel. Die Menschen im Dorf sind alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten 14 tolle und erholsame Urlaubstage in Falerna. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und bei Fragen immer telefonisch erreichbar gewesen.

Sie können sic drauf freuen

Freuen Sie sich auf dieses Ferienhaus. Eine famose Lage bietet Weitsicht. Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr sauber, geräumig, zweckmäßig eingerichtet und die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Der Vermietet ist nett und sehr hilfsbereit. Im Bergdorf gibt es eine gute Versorgungsmöglichkeit, täglich frische Paninis ( Brötchen) auch das Restaurant ist besuchenswert. Das Highlight der Wohnung ist sicher die geräumige Dachterrasse mit fantastischen Blick auf das Meer. Dort kann man herrlich die Abende genießen. Als besonders praktisch haben wir die zahlreich an Fenstern und Türen angebrachten Fliegengitter empfunden. Das Meer selbst ist sauber und die zahlreichen Strände sind nicht überbevölkert. Sie brauchen dort allerdings einen Pkw, denn das Haus liegt 15 min. vom Meer entfernt. Einziges Manko ist der für normale PKW`s nicht zu erreichende PKW-Stellplatz vor dem Haus. Aber in 100 m Entfernung ist ein guter Parkplatz. Übrigens eignet sich das Haus auch gut für 2 Kleinfamilien durch 3 Schlafzimmer und 3 Toiletten. Insgesamt ein sehr zu empfehlender Urlaubsziel.

Séjour très agréable

Très belle maison, superbement rénovée, très agréable avec ses 2 terrasses. Un peu difficile d'accès mais ça en vaut la peine. Nous étions 2 couples avec 1 bébé chacun et chaque famille avait son espace de vie, ce qui est très appréciable avec des enfants en bas-âge. Propriétaires très sympathiques, serviables et facilement joignables.

True flavor of Italy

The description of this rental was very accurate and its location in a tourist free Italian hill town greatly enhanced our experience. We were fortunate to be there during their annual festival which added a great deal of excitement. The balconies enabled you to sit out and enjoy the outstanding views of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The kitchen in the unit was very well equipped and the entire unit was very clean and neat. We received a warm greeting and had total access to others if needs developed (none did). The location enabled us to visit the entire Calabria region with ease. This rental provided a true feel of Italian life as the people we met in the town were very welcoming and friendly. We would highly recommend this unit to anyone who wanted an experience free from tourists.

Traumurlaub

Zwei Wochen Urlaub mit tollem Wetter, vielen Bademöglichkeiten und einer sehr schönen Unterkunft. In allen bisherigen Bewertungen wurde die Wohnung angemessen beschrieben. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtet und wer gerne kocht, wird auch in der Küche nichts vermissen. Das besondere Highlight sind die beiden Terassen. Von der Dachterasse hat man einen unglaublichen Blick auf Falerna marina und das Meer, auf der großen Gartenterasse kann man, umgeben von Feigenbäumen, herrlich sitzen und die Abende bei Wein und selbstgegrillten Fleisch oder Fisch genießen. Selbstversorger können in Falerna in mehreren minimarket und Salumerien alles kaufen, was für Küche und Haushalt notwendig ist. Wer gerne essen geht, ist im Agriturismo oder in der Bar Barracuda gut aufgehoben. Hier genießt man auf Bestellung kalbrische Spezialitäten oder ohne Vorbestellung einfach eine Pizza. Das öffentliche Leben am Abend spielt sich in und vor der Bar ab. Hier kamen wir mit den Einheimischen in Kontakt, die sehr herzlich und offen auf uns zugegangen sind. Sehenswert sind die kleinen Nachbarstädte Falernas, Amantea und Paola. Tagesausflüge nach Tropea und Capo Vaticano oder an das ionische Meer lohnen sich immer. Wir sind als Familie mit zwei Erwachsenen und zwei Kindern (12 und 10 Jahre) gereist und können dieses Haus nur empfehlen. Vielen Dank an die Vermieter für die super Beschreibung und den freundlichen und unkomplizierten Kontakt, sowie an Catherine, die uns sehr freundlich und herzlich in Falerna in "Empfang" genommen hat. Für uns war es der schönste Urlaub, den wir je in Italien verbringen durften.

Italienisches Lebensgefühl

Casa Vistamare ist mehr als nur ein Ferienhaus- es ist der Inbegriff italienischen Lebensgefühls. Alles was wir im Vorfeld über dieses Haus erfahren haben, hat sich im Urlaub voll bestätigt. Die unmittelbare Nähe zum Ortskern mit der Möglichkeit, die Grundversorgung in Falerna sicherzustellen, war äußerst angenehm. Mehr als das war der Komfort des Hauses, der nichts vermissen ließ. Mit 4 Erwachsenen haben wir hier wunderbare Urlaubstage verbracht. Als Sommergäste haben wir natürlich die gepflegten Außenanlagen (Terrasse und Balkone) besonders genutzt. Aber auch die Inneneinrichtung des Hauses ließ keine Wünsche offen. Beeindruckend ist die Freundlichkeit der hier lebenden Menschen und der aufmerksame und liebevolle Service im Agrturismo Mendicino, wo kalabresische Esskultur zelebriert werden kann. Wir danken dem Ehepaar Zammarelli für die Fürsorge aus der Ferne und der herzlichen Betreuung vor Ort durch Catharine. Wer also abseits von Touristenströmen erholsamen Urlaub in typisch italienischem Milieu verbringen möchte, ohne auf das erquickende Bad im Meer zu verzichten (das ionische Meer ist übrigens auch nur knapp 40 Km entfernt) der ist in Casa Vistamare bestens aufgehoben. Wir jedenfalls können es uns gut vorstellen, das Haus erneut als Feriendomizil auszuwählen.

Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung

Wir (4 Erwachsene) haben Pfingsten 2011 zehn wunderbare Tage in diesem Ferienhaus verbracht. Das Haus liegt in einem kleinen Bergdorf und ist sehr schön renoviert und eingerichtet. Von den Terrassen und den beiden Balkonen hat man einen herrlichen Blick auf das Meer. Das gesamte Haus ist sehr sauber und gepflegt und die Ausstattung lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig. An allen Fenstern sind Fliegengitter. Gartenmöbel und Polsterauflagen in gutem Zustand sind reichlich vorhanden. Alle Elektrogeräte funktionieren. Sollte Langeweile aufkommen, gibt es zahlreiche deutsche Fernsehprogramme, viele DVDs, Spiele und Bücher. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und werden uns gerne an dieses schöne Haus erinnern.

First-class Vacation in Friendly Falerna

Dear Mrs Zammarelli, A week after our return from sunny Calabria I should like to thank you for the use of your splendid house at Falerna. The six of us have been very happy there: enjoying the wonderful scenery, the hospitality of the people in the village, the excellent meals at Rosario's Barracuda and Rinaldo's Tavernetta (on the road to Nocera Tirenese), trips to Cozenza, Catanzaro and Squillace, and dips in the sea at Amantea and Paola. Catherine, the keeper of the keys, has been most helpful, and all in all we had a wonderful time in Italy. Thank you again. Even better than expected

We were really charmed by the feeling we got entering the upper floor bedroom; top of the world, beautifull view and a nice terrace. Lower terrace both very cosy and spacious. Kitchen well equiped. Clean and fresh impression throughout all places in the house. Situated near the center of an authentic friendly and warm village with soul. Shops and restaurant within reach. Two agritourismo with good regional food in the neighbourhood. 20 minutes to the beach. Excellent price/quality. Friendly and efficient welcome and assistance by Robert and Jill. A stay to remember (and to return to).

Berge und Meer - was braucht man mehr !

Wir haben gerade (Juli 2010) zwei wunderbare, erholsame Wochen in diesem schönen Ferienhaus verbracht und wären gern länger geblieben. Das Haus liegt sehr idyllisch in einem kleinen Bergdorf, am Ende einer ruhigen Sackgasse. Von allen vier Balkonen/Terassen hat man eine tolle Sicht auf das Meer - "Casa Vista Mare" kann man wörtlich nehmen! In ca. 30 min ist man am Meer und hat eine Auswahl an einsamen oder "bewirtschafteten" Stränden. Im Haus findet man alles, was man für einen komfortablen und entspannten Urlaub braucht und noch einiges mehr. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gepflegt und sauber und vor allem die liebevolle persönliche Einrichtung bewirkt, dass man sich wie zu Hause fühlt. Die Zimmer sind hell und geräumig, die Bäder (3) für zwei Familien bestens geeignet. Im Dorf findet man in einem kleinen Laden Lebensmittel und Brot sowie eine Post. Es gibt auch eine Bar (Barracuda), wo man am Wochenende eine ganz leckere Pizza bekommt. Einen weiteren Tipp unserer Vermieter können wir ebenfalls nur bestätigen - das Agroturismo "Mendicino" mit ganz besonders frischem Essen, Hauswein und Früchten (direkt vom Baum) - gastfreundlich und herzlich serviert. Wir sind mit 4 Erwachsenen und 3 Kindern (2,6 und 9 jahre) gereist und können dieses Ferienhaus in jedem Fall empfehlen. Vielen Dank vor allem Frau Zammarelli für die hilfreichen Tipps und die tolle Organisation (Babybett, Internet-Stick, Navigation). Wir werden Calabrien, Falerna und die "Casa Vista Mare" in guter Erinnerung behalten.

During a vacation in 2006 we have been in Falerna for the very first time an have fallen in love with the vilage and the hospitality and naturalness of residents ...... and of course, stunning landscapes that are not yet overcrowded by tourists.

What makes this property unique

When we got the opportunity to buy the house, we did not hesitate for a moment.The tranquility, the views of the mountains and the sea AND the Calabrian cuisine bring joy at every stay, even in the winter months when the weather is not always very 'Italian'.
