Bathroom/toilet.<br><br>The beautiful, spacious chalet LES CRETTAUX is idyllically situated in a sunny location on the outskirts of Nendaz, high above the traditional mountain village of Isérables. The centre of Nendaz and the entrance to the ski area are 3.5 km away; the nearest ski bus stop is 2 km away. From the terrace and the two balconies, you’ll enjoy an unobstructed and fantastic panoramic view of the Valais mountains, stretching far down into and across the Rhône Valley. Garden furniture, a few lounge chairs, and a gas grill are provided. There is parking for a total of 4 cars directly at the chalet; minibuses can also drive right up to the chalet. <br>The interior of the chalet was largely renovated a few years ago, resulting in a charming holiday home with a cosy and rustic atmosphere. In the centre of the large living room stands an impressive, modern fireplace (with glass panels on two sides; firewood available at the supermarket). The chalet is equipped with a washing machine, a large flat-screen TV, and free Wi-Fi. Tile floors in the kitchen and bathrooms; hardwood floors throughout the rest of the house. Central heating. <br><br>The 4 Vallées in winter: The vast 4 Vallées ski area stretches from the world-famous ski resort of Verbier in the west all the way to Les Collons in the east. Its size and diversity—with over 100 lifts and more than 400 km of slopes—make it a true paradise for every skier. The ski area is accessible up to an altitude of 3,328 m and offers slopes of varying difficulty levels to suit all skiers: from wide “highway runs” to extremely steep mogul runs (including those at Mont-Fort). The area is also very well-known and popular for its many deep-snow slopes and backcountry trails, though these are reserved for the “die-hard enthusiasts.” The entire ski area now has excellent artificial snow coverage, which generally ensures access to the various valleys even during winters with less snow. <br>The 4 Vallées in summer: the area has now also become a true “hotspot” for active visitors during the summer months. In addition to designated mountain bike trails, it has also become a gathering spot for the paragliding community.<br><br>The charming resort town of Nendaz, at an elevation of just under 1,400 m, offers an attractive and extensive range of sports, leisure, and entertainment activities in both winter and summer:<br>In winter, highlights include its strategically convenient location in the heart of the ski area (the ski areas of Les Collons and Verbier are both quickly accessible from here), an 11-kilometer cross-country ski trail, downhill and cross-country ski schools, a ski kindergarten, an artificial ice rink, a fitness centre featuring squash and a sauna, among other amenities. There are also many winter hiking and snowshoe trails. For après-ski enthusiasts, there are plenty of mountain huts, bars, cafés, dance clubs, and restaurants. Indoor swimming pool in Sion (17 km).<br>In summer, it’s very popular thanks to its sunny location. A heated outdoor pool (open mid-June through late August), nearly 300 km of marked hiking trails, marked mountain bike routes (bike rentals available), outdoor tennis courts, and paragliding. In Sion, just under 20 km away, there is a large 18-hole golf course.
