Beautiful sweet chalet with picture perfect views

We had a fantastic stay here. The chalet was nicely decorated, very clean, equipped with modern appliances and had everything we needed including WiFi. The owner had even left fruit and milk in the kitchen for us on arrival. I am in a large electric wheelchair and was able to get in to the chalet with no problems as the driveway, terrace and inside the apartment has no steps. Whilst the bathrooms are not wheelchair adapted and the toilet is in it's own little room, for our purposes it was good. The apartment felt very homely and not like a holiday letting. We enjoyed the beautiful summer weather sitting out on the terrace looking out at the uninterrupted views of Lake Thun and the Swiss Alps, we would have been very happy to spend our entire stay just relaxing at the chalet. The little village of Beatenberg is quiet yet has everything you need and it's only a short drive from Interlaken. Sonja the owner of the chalet was absolutely lovely and was very helpful. We would love to come back and visit again on our next visit to Switzerland.

Beatenberg

Communication was fabulous from start to finish. She met us the apartment even though we did not arrive until after midnight. The house was super clean, and the views were amazing.

My thoughts

This is a beautiful place to stay. If you are looking for a little break from reality then this is your place. The views are breathtaking!! It’s is very clean and pleasant. The only point I would make is that it may be useful to have some extra pillows.
