Watch your children romp around while you prepare your favorite dishes at the grill and listen to the birds chirping.



Take trips to the nearby beach by the fjord and cool off in the fjord on warm summer days. You can also visit the old castle in Jægerspris or treat yourself to an ice cream from Poulsens Isbod, which has been selling ice cream since 1913. A bit further away is the next town Frederikssund, where you can go shopping and eat out. Also visit the historic Roskilde, with its Viking museum, the cathedral and walk along the Roskilde Fjord. If you are a golfer, you can practice your hobby and improve your swing nearby.
