It pains me to give this place a low rating because it is a spectacular location and a really cool house with amazing view of the river, but I depend on reviews so I feel a duty to share our experience. Unfortunately, the property upkeep and on-site amenities fell short during our stay. Upon arrival, we discovered a severe, putrid odor coming from the well water whenever the faucets were turned on, especially in the kitchen. This issue was not disclosed prior to booking. The on-site instructions advised running the water to clear it, but this did not work, and the smell persisted through departure. We had to purchase our own bottled water and candles just to stay inside. Had an issue with the door that we were instructed to use to enter via keypad, it would continually lock us out. The supplies in the house were a little inadequate for a large group. Some tvs didn't work and some remotes had no batteries. The listing said a gas grill was on site, unfortunately that was not true. There was, however, a rusted out charcoal grill so we purchased a new one as we had planned on grilling. The house itself has incredible potential, but the lack of basic upkeep made for a very disappointing physical experience. On a positive note, management was highly professional after our stay, took our feedback seriously, and issued a partial refund to compensate for the missing amenities and water issues.

We enjoy the time at the cabin with the family. The weather was not that good but still enjoying the staying I want to rent again for summer time. Thanks
