A Nature Lover's Paradise
The Nest Utah was created for guests who appreciate the outdoors. Native landscaping attracts butterflies, bees, hummingbirds, and a remarkable variety of birds throughout the year. Depending on the season, you may see Sandhill Cranes, American White Pelicans, Bald Eagles, Killdeer, Red-winged Blackbirds, hawks, and many other migratory species that stop along the Pacific Flyway.

Enjoy your morning coffee while watching birds over the lake, spend the afternoon exploring nearby trails, and end the day with breathtaking sunsets across Utah Lake.

A Note About Nature
One of the unique natural events near Utah Lake is the seasonal emergence of non-biting midges. These insects typically appear for only a few days at a time each summer and play an essential role in the lake's ecosystem by providing food for fish and migratory birds. While their arrival can briefly be noticeable outdoors, they are harmless, temporary, and a fascinating part of the area's natural environment.

If you love beautiful scenery, abundant wildlife, unforgettable sunsets, and a peaceful place to recharge while staying close to everything Utah County has to offer, we look forward to welcoming you to The Nest Utah.

I love to travel! My husband and I purchased a tow behind travel trailer and we love the great outdoors. We love our home but the road is always beckoning. This year, we took a summer job as camp hosts and so we are sharing our home with you! We want you to have the best time and enjoy the peace and relaxation that our home has provided to us. Please make yourself at home!

Why they chose this property

Easy access to Interstate 15 (when Pioneer Crossing is not under construction). American Fork is located on the north end of Utah County with close proximity to Silicon Slopes, Thanksgiving Point, American Fork Canyon, Utah Valley University, Brigham Young University, and the Provo Airport. There is a local Frontrunner train with service from Provo to Ogden including a stop in Downtown Salt Lake City at the Salt Lake Central Station which is an approximate 56 minute train ride when accessed via the American Fork Station; located only 1.5 miles from the home.

What makes this property unique

When I first walked into this property, the views of Utah Lake took my breath away. Though there is a road and a farm field between the home and the lake, the views are largely unobstructed. We were awarded a pollinator garden by the Department of Agriculture for the plants in the back and side yards to assist with pollinators including lots of Showy Milkweed for the Monarch Butterfly. The home is peaceful and a variety of migrating bird species rest and/or exhibit mating rituals along the shores of Utah Lake including Sandhill Cranes, Bald Eagles, Killdeer, White Pelicans, California Seagulls, and more.
