The Wildberghus is a unique self-catering retreat with cosy interiors that offer our guests an unforgettable holiday in a beautiful region. This semi-detached holiday home is located on the outskirts of the village, on a residential street with views of the countryside and the distant horizon. Accommodation for 4–5 people. The well-maintained garden and terrace invite you to relax and sunbathe in a secluded setting. Whether you’re seeking peace and quiet or want to experience a varied holiday, here you’ll find nature, sun, wind, and water. Two playgrounds were newly built in 2020 in the immediate vicinity—one right by the lake and one in the village centre. A complete renovation and refurnishing in 2021 have transformed the holiday home into a modern and cosy retreat. Families and couples alike will find the house’s layout to be brilliant. 105 square metres of living space spread over two floors. 2 bedrooms on the upper floor, each with 1 double bed; an extra bed or guest bed can be added to the bedroom; 1 guest bathroom on the upper floor; hallway on the upper floor; ground floor—kitchen, utility room with washing machine and dryer, hallway on the ground floor, living room with a pellet fireplace, covered patio, and additional seating in the garden; a large bike storage room on the property, a carport, and additional parking spaces are available. If you use the pellet fireplace in the living room, you can book a 15-kg bag of pellets on-site for 12 euros as needed. A cash deposit of 250.00 euros is due upon arrival, which will be refunded upon departure. Wi-Fi is available free of charge. Bed linens and towels are included in the rental price. The Dat Wildberghus holiday home—located on Lake Kastorfer in the Mecklenburg Lake District—is situated on the outskirts of the town of Wildberg. Wildberg is located about 18 km northwest of Neubrandenburg and 10 km southwest of Altentreptow. Waren an der Müritz is approximately 46 km west of Wildberg. The municipality of Wildberg can be reached from the A20 federal highway via the Altentreptow interchange. The western part of the municipality borders Lake Kastorfer. The lake is approximately 2.1 kilometres long and 500 metres wide at its widest point, covering an area of about 64 hectares—the size of 90 football fields. The holiday home is surrounded by picturesque forests and lakes. Fishing opportunities and rowing boat rentals are available nearby. The view across the vast, magnificent landscape invites you to enjoy a holiday. Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, the land of 1,000 lakes, is worth a visit in every season. Far away from the daily hustle and bustle, you can enjoy the peace and quiet. Set out on excursions into nature, explore the history of the Slavs, visit museums or well-known towns in the region, such as Waren-Müritz and Neubrandenburg. The well-developed network of bike paths begins right outside the front door of our holiday home. Feeling good, rediscovering peace and nature, and enjoying them—that’s what we’d like to do. Only when we feel truly at ease in every way can we experience relaxation and contentment. These two elements are essential for a restful holiday. Sports enthusiasts will find plenty of options in the area: horseback riding, swimming, hiking, jogging, paddling, biking, skating, Nordic walking, table tennis, or playing badminton or football.
