Also spend a lot of time in the garden and on the sunny terrace. Read a book on the sun lounger or come together to have a lemonade or fresh fruit. Play ball or other games with your children on the lawn and catch a glimpse of the Baltic Sea.
Throw your bath towel over your shoulder and walk the few yards to the family-friendly sandy beach. Splash around with your little ones in the shallow water or jump into the water from the bathing jetty. You can also cast your line here in the evening and try your luck at catching fish. Also plan excursions and bring your bikes and explore the peninsula. On the neighboring island of Als, you can visit Augustenborg, take a detour to Sonderburg or experience the Universe amusement park.
