Cozy vacation rental with a panoramic view

Welcome to the Breekate and the Gezina holiday rental. Our holiday rental is located on the upper floor of the Breekate, surrounded by pastures and fields, away from the villages along a farm road typical of Butjadingen. Through the large windows, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the countryside and experience spectacular sunrises and sunsets.

The bright, cosy living room invites you to relax. Outside, in front of the house, you’ll find a seating area with a view of the countryside.

The kitchen is fully equipped and offers everything you need for hassle-free self-catering. The spacious bathroom with a shower and toilet is located on the ground floor.

An ideal retreat for anyone seeking peace and quiet and who loves nature!

Surroundings

From the Breekate, you can set out directly on wonderful excursions—whether short or long walks, bike tours, mudflat hikes, or boat tours. You can reach the maritime city of Bremerhaven in just 30 minutes via the Weser Tunnel or by taking one of the ferries in Brake and Blexen. Or how about a crossing over the Jadebusen on the passenger ferry to Wilhelmshaven?

In addition, the seaside resorts of Butjadingen offer a wide range of tourist attractions and dining options.

Moin, vielen Dank für die nette Bewertung. Da wir seit dem Frühjahr am Glasfaser hängen sollte das Internet eigentlich flüssig ankommen, da werden wir mal nachforschen woran es gelegen haben könnte!

Als problematischen haben wir die Treppe empfunden, um bei Dunkelheit vom 1. OG zur Toilette im EG zu gehen. Die Beleuchtung des Treppenhauses war schon notwendig.Wegen des einheitlichen Verlaufes der Holzmaserung fällt eine Unterscheidung von oben, von Stufe zur Stufe, schwer. So entsteht eine Sturzgefahr, die recht leicht vermieden werden kann. z.B. Kantenprofile.

Liebes Ehepaar Schwering, vielen Dank für Ihre Rückmeldung. Wie wir vor Ort bereits besprochen hatten, habe ich Ihre Anmerkung zur Treppe gerne zur Kenntnis genommen. Dass die gleichmäßige Holzmaserung bei Dunkelheit als schwierig empfunden werden kann, war mir bislang tatsächlich nicht bekannt – bisher hatte noch niemand darauf hingewiesen. Die Beleuchtung im Treppenhaus ist vorhanden und ausreichend, daher macht es Sinn, diese bei Bedarf einzuschalten. In der Objektbeschreibung ist zudem klar angegeben, dass sich die Toilette im Erdgeschoss befindet, und auf den Fotos ist die Treppe gut erkennbar – die Gegebenheiten sollten also vor der Buchung ersichtlich gewesen sein. Trotzdem nehmen wir Ihre Anregung ernst und sind bereits auf der Suche nach einer gut umsetzbaren Lösung. Herzliche Grüße aus Bree, Jasmin
