Welcome to the Iron Wheel! We are so thrilled to have your interest.
Please make yourself at home in this 7-bedroom Whitehall house retreat. A 3 level home with 7 bedrooms boasting 7 queen beds, 5 twin beds, and a bunk bed so there’s plenty of space for everyone to relax comfortably. Five bathrooms make busy mornings easy and stress-free. The house stays cozy with hot water heat and we do have window AC units on the main floor to help with the summer heat so guests feel just right no matter the season.
Whether you’re gathering in the spacious living areas or enjoying some quiet time, this fantastic home offers a serene escape. We hope you enjoy what our place and Whitehall has to offer. When you are looking you will notice that our place is located a bit out of town, TRUST US, the country quiet makes any drive well worth it. If you go outside you can hear the gentle flap of a birds wings as they soar overhead and the whoosh of the creek that runs through the property.
We have yard games including a badminton setup for the yard, a cornhole set, and a pickleball setup for under the pavilion where you can turn on the lights and play into the night. If a glass of wine and chat is more your style kick back by the propane firepit and laugh until your sides hurt.
Events including weddings can be booked at this property but additional fees apply, contact host for details.

We are from right here in the Jefferson valley! Your host, Scott, was actually raised on the property and Jody was raised right up the road. All of our business ventures focus on hosting or helping people explore all that Montana has to offer!

What makes this property unique
Our property is SO unique for a variety of reasons. First off it's large and was created as a vacation space. Having 7 bedrooms & 5 bathrooms is incredible for a large group but then when you add the indoor and outdoor living spaces our place is almost unbeatable for the price point.
In addition to this, the history of this property is incredibly rich. Back in the late 1800 & early 1900s the old home was the 19 Mile Stage coach stop, simply meaning, every person going from Butte to Virginia City by stage spent the night here as part of their trip. In our Homestead room, you can see photos of the place dating back to 1908. We love to share the history of the property and the area so if this interests you please tell us!
