Oasis Ocala is more than a vacation rental—it’s our home away from home and a place we genuinely enjoy ourselves.

We created Oasis Ocala as a comfortable, relaxing escape where families and friends can slow down, enjoy the Florida sunshine, and spend quality time together. We wanted it to feel like a real home, not just another rental property. Because we personally stay here throughout the year, we’ve put thought into the details that make a visit comfortable and easy.

Ocala quickly became one of our favorite places because it offers a little bit of everything. You can enjoy peaceful mornings, relax by the pool, explore nearby parks and natural springs, visit the World Equestrian Center, or take a day trip to many of Central Florida’s attractions.

As hosts, our goal is straightforward: provide a clean, comfortable, well-maintained home and be available when our guests need us—without getting in the way of their vacation. We want you to settle in, relax, and feel at home from the moment you arrive.

Whether you’re visiting family, attending an event, exploring Ocala, escaping the colder weather, or simply looking for a place to recharge, we hope Oasis Ocala becomes a memorable part of your trip.

Why they chose this property

After years of searching for the perfect place to eventually retire, Ocala seemed to offer everything we were looking for. I’ve always said I wanted to live “in the middle of nowhere, but only 20 minutes from everything,” and that’s exactly how this neighborhood feels.

It’s quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by nature, yet still convenient to restaurants, shopping, antique stores, entertainment, and everyday necessities. The area is close to several beautiful natural springs where you can picnic, swim, kayak, paddleboard, or spend the day boating.

Outdoor enthusiasts will find miles of bicycling, mountain-biking, and hiking trails throughout the Cross Florida Greenway and the nearby Santos trail system. There are also numerous golf courses, parks, horseback-riding opportunities, and scenic places to explore.

The neighborhood is conveniently located near the World Equestrian Center, Florida Aquatics Swimming & Training—better known as FAST—and many of Ocala’s equestrian events and attractions. Sholom Park, local farmers markets, downtown Ocala, shopping centers, and a variety of restaurants and activities are also within a comfortable drive.

I especially love having so many outdoor activities nearby, while my wife enjoys the shopping, antiques, local events, parks, and other attractions. It gives us the privacy and slower pace we wanted without leaving us isolated—and that combination is what made the neighborhood feel right for us.

What makes this property unique

What makes Oasis Ocala unique is the amount of space, privacy, and comfort it provides for families and groups. The home sleeps up to eight guests across four large bedrooms, including two separate suites, two king beds, two queen beds, and 3½ bathrooms. This layout gives everyone room to be together without feeling crowded.

The home also has two distinct living areas. The spacious main living room is ideal for conversation, reading, or relaxing, while the cozy step-down living area provides another place to gather. A distinctive two-sided fireplace sits between the spaces and adds character to the home.

One of our favorite features is the large, private inground pool, which has both shallow and deep ends, built-in seating, and a screened lanai. The lanai provides a comfortable place to eat, work, play games, or simply relax beside the pool without being bothered by insects.

The fully stocked kitchen makes preparing family meals easy, and every bedroom has its own television. Guests also have a dedicated workspace, laundry facilities, driveway parking for four vehicles, and access to the entire home, yard, pool, and lanai.

Oasis Ocala sits on a generously sized property in a quiet neighborhood, offering more privacy and outdoor space than many vacation rentals. It is also personally managed by the owner rather than a large management company. We use the home ourselves and have equipped it with the practical supplies, thoughtful extras, and comforts we appreciate when traveling.
