Alkersum is an ideal starting point for cycling or inline skating tours or walks through the marsh. The beach in Nieblum or Wyk can be reached by bike in 15-20 minutes in a comfortable ride. For horseback riding enthusiasts, a total of 3 riding stables are located in Alkersum. The 18-hole golf course and the seawater wave pool in Wyk are also within easy reach.
