Built on the sun-drenched southern slope of the Engedey, this traditional local-style house was completely renovated in 2023. The kitchens in all apartments, with their high-quality appliances, invite you to cook and dine together. On the high-quality 7-zone pocket-spring mattresses, you’ll sleep as if on clouds and start the next unforgettable day of your holiday feeling well-rested. From the beautiful south-facing sun terrace, relax in your cosy deck chair and enjoy the unobstructed, breathtaking view of the impressive panorama of the Berchtesgaden Alps, featuring the Hoher Göll, Jenner, the majestic Watzmann, the Hochkalter massif, and many others. Amenities such as a sauna, a combined bike, ski, and hiking storage room with direct access to the hallway, and fast-charging stations for electric cars, as well as additional charging options for e-bikes, round out the offerings of this first-class holiday rental. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the house. In the guesthouse laundry room, you can use the washing machine and dryer for a small fee.
The “Hochkalter” apartment is furnished in an open-concept style with a combined living and sleeping area, a spacious kitchen area, and a modern bathroom. It is located on the ground floor of the main building and can accommodate up to four people. The apartment has been rated 5 stars by the DTV based on occupancy by two people.
A swiveling flat-screen smart TV visually separates the living area from the sleeping area. There, the comfortable, backlit double bed (180×200 cm) with high-quality pocket-coil mattresses, the spacious closet with an adjoining coat rack, as well as luggage storage and an integrated laptop safe, form a harmonious whole. In the living/dining area, a full-size sofa bed with a 140×200 cm mattress is available for the 3rd and 4th guests. The fully equipped built-in kitchen, featuring brand-name appliances including a dishwasher, induction cooktop, and a microwave with baking function, has a large dining table with four armchairs.
The terrace, accessible from the apartment, offers a wonderful view of the impressive panorama of the Berchtesgaden Alps and the majestic Watzmann from the covered seating area.
