We had a lovely stay overall and the location was fantastic. The apartment is only a couple of minutes from the beach, with restaurants, cafés, bars and a supermarket all close by. Parking was also easy to find nearby. The bedrooms were comfortable, with a double bed and two single beds, and the bedding was excellent. There was also plenty of spare bedding available if needed. The apartment was a comfortable temperature throughout our stay and it was very quiet at night – we weren’t disturbed by traffic, bars or neighbours. The main living area is an open-plan kitchen/dining/living space. There is a dining table with six chairs, which is where we tended to sit and relax. There is only one sofa, which we didn’t find particularly comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with an oven, hob, microwave and washing machine. Unfortunately, the freezer was completely full of ice and unusable during our stay. We reported this to our host, who responded straight away and arranged for someone to come and look at it. Unfortunately, they didn’t turn up, which was outside his control, but he was very apologetic and did his best to put things right for us. Our host was very accommodating throughout our stay and communication through messaging was always good. When we explained that the freezer issue had caused us some inconvenience and we’d had to dispose of some food, he was extremely understanding and offered to make it right.
