Would you like to stay on one of the most beautiful streets in Aurich’s pedestrian zone and have all the lovely shops and cafés right outside your door? <br><br>Then the Gästehaus Hafenstraße is the perfect place for you!<br><br>Our meticulously renovated historic villa is located on one of Aurich’s most beautiful streets, “Hafenstraße.” Here you’ll also find, among other things, Aurich’s oldest pub, the “Ewige Lampe,” as well as the lovely café “Hafen5” with its own coffee roastery and outdoor seating area.<br>A wonderful, newly renovated apartment awaits you on the upper floor of a beautiful historic villa dating back to 1911—designed with great attention to detail. This bright historic apartment has been stylishly and lovingly furnished by us; it features ~110 m² of living space and, thanks to its well-designed layout, offers plenty of room for couples or families of up to 6 people. The apartment offers all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay, including Wi-Fi and a large TV. It features a spacious kitchen, a living room with a dining area, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, as well as a large hallway and a walk-in closet/storage room. All living areas are floored with warm-to-the-foot wood-look vinyl that has been additionally insulated with cork; both bathrooms are tiled with high-quality tiles.<br><br>Details about the apartment and amenities<br><br>Kitchen with dining area: <br>Fully equipped built-in kitchen with an induction cooktop, oven, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, and a washer-dryer. There are also two sets of dishes and silverware, as well as a toaster, electric kettle, and teapot. For coffee lovers, there’s also a Saeco fully automatic coffee machine (whole beans) or, alternatively, a Bialetti and a milk frother. There’s also a small dining table with chairs that seats up to 4 people.<br>Living Room: Spacious living room with a cosy couch that pulls out into a 140 cm x 220 cm bed, as well as a smart TV and a large dining table. From the couch, you’ll enjoy a beautiful view of the city’s Lamberti church tower. Adjacent to the living room is a small room that can also be used as a walk-in closet or storage space, e.g., to store your suitcases.<br><br>Bedroom 1: <br>The large bedroom is furnished with a high-quality wooden double bed (180x200 cm), two nightstands with bedside lamps, a wardrobe, and blackout curtains. In addition, the room features a small French balcony with a beautiful view over the rooftops of Aurich’s pedestrian zone and our landscaped courtyard. This room has an adjacent bathroom with a shower and toilet.<br><br>Bedroom 2: <br>The smaller bedroom is furnished with a high-quality wooden double bed (140x200 cm), a nightstand with a lamp, a chest of drawers, coat hooks, and blackout curtains.<br><br>Bathrooms: <br>The apartment has two separate bathrooms with natural light. One bathroom with a shower, accessible only from the master bedroom, and one bathroom with a bathtub. Both bathrooms are equipped with privacy-screening pleated blinds, a sink, a toilet, ample storage space, towel racks, towels, and a hair dryer.<br><br>Our apartment is the perfect place for relaxing holidays, working from home, or project weeks in the beautiful East Frisian countryside for three reasons:<br>1. Aurich’s pedestrian zone is right outside the villa’s door. It’s perfect for strolling, taking a leisurely walk, enjoying a cup of coffee, dining, or even shopping (clothing, chemist items, groceries)—all within walking distance, without having to drive.<br>Whether it’s an Italian speciality restaurant, an ice cream parlour, the time-honored “Zur Börse” restaurant with its enchanting beer garden, a stroll through our market—which takes place three times a week—a concert at the Lamberti Church, or so much more… everything is right on your doorstep.<br>2. The North Sea coast is only about a half-hour drive away.<br>There you’ll find the beach, the Wadden Sea, and plenty of fresh East Frisian air—the very things that make our coast so popular and for which it’s so well known.<br>3. Treat yourself to pure relaxation or some fun in the water at the “De Balje” water park, just a 5-minute walk
