From the spacious living and dining area, you’ll enjoy a fantastic view across the field and towards the small forest, with the Baltic Sea beach lying directly behind it. You’re guaranteed to see deer and hares here, and you’ll never cease to be amazed by the beauty of our natural surroundings.
In the bedroom with a double bed, you can really make yourself comfortable and enjoy restful nights. The brand-new, fully equipped kitchen invites you to prepare wonderful holiday meals together.[nbsp][nbsp][nbsp][nbsp][nbsp][nbsp] The seating area in the garden is the perfect spot to soak up the sun and enjoy many a lovely holiday evening with a glass of wine or a traditional Flens beer.
Since the house features a total of three apartments (Kiekut 1 + Kiekut 2) of varying sizes, it’s the ideal spot for a holiday with friends or a multigenerational getaway, where everyone has their own private space.
A maximum of one dog is also welcome here.
The house, which features a total of three holiday apartments, is located in a residential area just 2 km from the picturesque fishing village of Maasholm. It’s about 800 m to the Schlei and only about 400 m to the Baltic Sea beach. A small bakery in the area provides you with fresh, delicious rolls every morning. Right from the house, you can enjoy wonderful hikes of varying lengths or extensive bike rides. Storage space is available for bikes you bring with you or rent.
Enjoy the unspoiled nature in the nearby Geltinger Birk, visit Germany’s smallest town—Arnis—the country doctor in Deekelsen, Gottorf Castle in Schleswig, or the Vikings in Haitabu.
About 45 km to the north lie the city of Flensburg and the border with Denmark.
Maasholm is a small, idyllic fishing village situated directly on and between the Baltic Sea and the Schlei, which has managed to preserve its tranquil character to this day. A sailing school, surf school, deep-sea fishing, walking trails, bike paths, various restaurants, and a fish smokehouse, a visit to the nature discovery centre, and, of course, the Baltic Sea beach are just a few of the many ways to enjoy your stay in Maasholm. The long-distance cycling trail, the Wikinger-Friesenweg, also ends—or rather, begins—in Maasholm and leads all the way to Sankt Peter Ording.
