Lovely little secluded cabin in the woods with convenience to Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, and the Smokies National Park. The hot tub was amazing end to the day. Very clean and well-maintained.
The road to the cabin is a bit precarious and not very well-maintained. Recommend a SUV or Truck.
But great place and would rent again!!
I was looking for seclusion and this cabin definitely provided it. As many comments already mention, you DO want a vehicle with either 4 wheel or all wheel drive. One thing we were not anticipating was meeting another vehicle on the road/drive to the cabin… their isn’t much room for two vehicles to pass so you may need to reverse back to another driveway or where the road is wide enough for two vehicles to pass. Overall, we had a great stay!
Mountain Air is our new favorite place to be. The cabin was clean and VERY spacious. Our four year old grandson loved the bunkbeds! The mattresses were so much more comfortable than in other cabins we have stayed in, and there was enough dining and leisure furniture for all to enjoy. The back deck was a great place to relax and enjoy the sound of a creek running through while reading a book, playing cards or soaking in the hot tub.We did not have a problem with the Wi-Fi at all. It worked perfectly the entire time.Working details out with Chuck & Vickie was amazing! They were always so quick to get back to me whenever I had a question. They provided us with so much information about the cabin, things to do around town and where to eat. They were by far the best host’s we’ve ever dealt with, and we have rented cabins many, many times. We had a great time and loved the wildlife. We can’t wait to go back!
Fantastic location. Cabin was better than described and well appointed. The only thing I would caution about is you should have a 4x4 or AWD vehicle. Did not see any bears but did have several visits from some turkeys. The communication from the hosts was excellent and we wanted for nothing. We will definitely be booking this cabin in the future.
Was a great get away, had an amazing time, good food near by as well, would highly recommend.

Communication and preparation by Chuck (owner) was fantastic. We had all of the information we needed and had a great stay. The beds are very comfortable and the cabin is relaxing, secluded, and extremely quiet and way from everything just like we wanted.

We had a wonderful stay at this secluded cabin in Wears Valley! The advance disclosure about the road was very helpful and allowed us to make an informed decision before booking, which we really appreciated. The cabin itself was extremely well maintained, clean, and comfortable. The hosts were very responsive and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. One of our favorite parts was the remoteness of the property. We enjoyed sitting outside, listening to nature, and identifying the many birds around the cabin. Wildlife was definitely part of the experience—we had a bear open the door of our unlocked truck one morning. Thankfully, there was nothing inside except a water bottle, and the bear quickly exited, leaving the door open behind him! We followed the bear safety instructions provided by the hosts exactly as recommended. We also spotted a bear later that afternoon while driving back to the cabin.Despite feeling wonderfully secluded, the cabin was still conveniently close to the park entrance as well as several unique shops and restaurants.Overall, this was a fantastic stay, and we would definitely return the next time we’re in the area.
Perfect place for a get away from the craziness of pigeon forge. Very convenient but you feel like your in own little world. Cabin was really clean and well stocked with everything you would need. The hot tub was great after long days of hiking. The drive up to the cabin is interesting as the owner notes on the posting. I wouldn't drive a car to the cabin. The owner worked with us to switch dates and he was amazing to work with. We will be back in the future
Very secluded but close enough to see all the sights. Great stay

Happy to hear your stay was wonderful! The drive up the private road can seem a biti intimidating the first time but it often ends up being one of the pleasantly memorable things! We hope you will be back to visit with us again.
Cabin was cozy, secluded and just what you need to rest and get out of hustle and bustle. We have stayed here before. Make sure you have a vehicle that is 4 wheel drive to get up that mountain.

Such nice words, we might "borrow" some for the description! Glad you enjoyed your stay with us at "Mountain Air" and hope you might return sometime.
Happy you had a great time and enjoyed our cabin and hospitality!
If you have a larger group, we have a larger place in Gatlinburg! Also a few along the Destin FL beaches if you want a beach getaway!
This was our third stay at this cabin. Very peaceful and quiet. Clean and well stocked, comfortable bed and everything needed for a relaxing stay. Secluded, yet near everything you could want to do. This will always be our first choice when visiting the area.

The secluded nature really can give you that full "cabin" experience. It is quiet and all kinds of wildlife can wander by. Visit with us again if you return to the Smokies!
