Sipplingen is a community in the Lake Constance district in Baden-Württemberg, about six kilometers west of Überlingen on the northern steep shore of Lake Überlingen, a part of Lake Constance. Sipplingen is a small but charming resort town on the sunny side of Lake Constance.
Thanks to this charming location, directly on the lake but still in the immediate vicinity of the forest, Sipplingen offers a variety of opportunities to get to know the town and its surroundings.
Worth seeing is especially the listed village center with its parish church from 1155, the historic town hall with citizen's hall and the beautiful half-timbered houses.
Hiking enthusiasts can expect a network of hiking trails that is more than 45 km long. The water sports possibilities in Sipplingen are also varied - for example, there is a fun sports arena with water skiing, surfing lessons or pedal boat rentals and a sailing school directly in the village.
