There are dozens of golf courses in the region, some of which can be reached in 45 minutes - one hour, and the recently opened Ascari Race Resort is a fifteen minute drive. The area abounds with natural beauty as well as wonderful built heritage so plenty of things to do and to explore during your stay. There are many wine producers in the area and tours of the wineries and vineyards are possible. A tour of a well known local olive oil producer's estate can also be arranged. The Roman ruins at Ronda la Vieja, a short drive from the house, are well worth a visit and as well as the stunning theatre remains there are spectacular, far reaching, views across the countryside. Ronda itself has many museums, churches and galleries to investigate as well as dozens of shops, and bars and restaurants to enjoy the local cuisine . If you can tear yourself away from the glistening pools there are plenty of opportunities for those interested in the locale.

Golf: There are many of the best golf courses in Europe situated here in Andalucia and the nearest to Finca La Morera and Ronda can be reached in approximately 45 minutes. Farther afield - about an hour and a quarter drive - can be found spectacular courses at Antequera and Jerez, many with rather lower fees than the many found on the coast.

Why Toca Madera Estates SL chose Ronda
The property was acquired as a derelict renovation project with the ultimate intention of providing a high class holiday rental property. Situated in the glorious rural countryside of the Sierras de Ronda it was felt that it would provide all that holidaymakers could want from a rural location, yet also be in close proximity to the medieval town of Ronda which would provide shopping, eating and educational facilities. The finca has been let successfully for almost twenty years to many hundreds of guests, many of whom have returned again and again . They have come for holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, family reunions, photography courses, yoga, etc.
What makes this villa unique
The old farmhouse with its various outbuildings, converted to luxury accommodation, provides a very spacious and comfortable venue for large families or groups of friends. Its proximity to the wonderful medieval town of Ronda and other famous cities of Andalucia - Seville, Granada, Malaga and Jerez - make it the ideal point from which to explore the delights of rural Spain. The grounds surrounding the house are well kept with plenty of room for games or to find a quiet corner in which to enjoy a good book. The wide variety of vegetables and fruit grown at the property is available, in season, for guests.
