Johnny has done an amazing job of returning a former office conversion back into a beautiful home. We appreciated the grand yet comfortable spaces, the lovely decoration and furnishings, the impeccable taste, and the many fine touches he left (coffee, tea, juice, and tonic water, abundant kitchen supplies, water carafes and shortbread in the bedrooms, etc.). We also enjoyed the home's location away from the tourist fray, in an actual neighborhood, but within reasonable walking distance of restaurants and many of the city's sites. Our stay was a fitting coda to our Scotland travels.
