About this property

Historic 1914 brick charmer with double porch, steps from downtown

Welcome to our warm, historic, exposed-brick home just steps from downtown Billings and South Park. This spacious open layout home features three-bedrooms and two-baths, sleeps up to 8, and is perfect for families, groups, or anyone road-tripping through to Yellowstone.

The main floor is open and inviting, with original exposed brick and a double front porch that's perfect for morning coffee. Upstairs you'll find a dedicated work desk if you need to get things done, plus three comfortable bedrooms including a queen in the primary, a trundle room, and a second guest room with a full bed. The common room futon adds even more sleeping space. One bathroom features a clawfoot tub and double sinks, ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring.

Out back, our fenced yard has a brick patio wrapped in garden beds and a fire pit for evening gatherings. Guests are welcome to pick basil, tomatoes, cucumbers, and other fresh herbs and veggies right from the large metal garden beds during their stay (we just ask that you leave the corn, beans, and squash patch alone, as that's a longer-season crop we're growing out).

We're an 8 minute walk (0.8 miles) from downtown Billings, close to great coffee, restaurants, art, and shopping, and within easy reach of Yellowstone and the region's best outdoor adventures. We're also only an 8 minute drive to the airport. There is street parking only as there is no driveway - though there is always plenty of space on the street.

There is no access to a washer or dryer in the house, though two laundromats are within a mile if you need one.

We'd love to have you.

About the host

We are Ben and Tiffany, and we absolutely love our home and our garden. We have spent so much time making this house our own and are excited to share it with you. We have temporarily moved to New Mexico while Tiffany is in grad school. We hope that you love our home as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

We love the south side of Billings. The park is a great place with a small farmers market in the summer on Thursdays afternoons just outside our front porch. Lots of kids play in the park and many love the book nook in our front yard. There is definitely a sense of community in the area.

What makes this property unique

There is no other home like ours in the neighborhood. We have pictures of it being one of the only buildings in the area. It's very unique with the brick and the double porches and allows us to have so many conversations. I have heard that it used to be a market, and it also used to house people from the sugar beet factory. It's been a staple of the south side for over 100 years!
