A fully equipped holiday home in the wonderfully quiet area of Blindau. Just 300 metres from the small Benzeck valley ski area, which features 3 lifts and a snowmaking system. A playground is only 100 metres from the apartment. The chalet features 4 bedrooms, 3 showers, and 2 bathrooms. Beautiful living room with a tiled stove and a covered terrace. This gives you the opportunity to enjoy additional free benefits in addition to our own services, such as free rides on the Benzeck lifts in winter (EUR 1.00 contribution). <br> The Alpenchalet Benzeck is located in the beautiful and quiet district of Blindau, almost at the end of a cul-de-sac. A wonderful forest playground is just 100 metres away, and the lovely Blindauer Weiher is a good 300-meter walk away. In winter, the cross-country ski trail is just 100 metres away (connecting to over 100 km of trails), and the small, artificially snow-covered “Benzeck” ski area (3 T-bar lifts) is only 400 metres away (5 minutes on foot or 1 minute on skis). PLEASE NOTE: The ski pass for this small ski area is essentially included for all our guests for the entire duration of their stay (you only need to pay a nominal fee of 1,- per person). The house features a large garden area with a beautiful covered terrace (outdoor fireplace, grill). The garden is bordered on three sides by a hedge; only the front opens onto the property bordering the nearly traffic-free street. It features a lovely living room with a tiled stove, where you can enjoy cosy game nights or evenings watching TV. Directly between the living room and the fully equipped modern kitchen (including a dishwasher) is the dining room, which comfortably seats 8 people. On the ground floor, there is also a bedroom with a double bed and its own shower. The three other bedrooms are located on the ground floor, all with double beds (160 x 200 cm). Please note: One of these bedrooms has only a double bed for “couples” or can be used as a single bed (120 x 200 cm). On the ground floor, there is another small shower room as well as a large shower room that has just been completely renovated (as have all the bedrooms). In addition to these three showers, you’ll find a separate bathroom on each floor.<br> Reit im Winkl, a climatic health resort According to Wikipedia, the designation “climatic health resort” is awarded to “towns whose air and climate, according to an expert assessment, possess qualities that are beneficial for relaxation and health.” Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and has consistently met the criteria for this designation through its ongoing efforts ever since. One key factor is its high elevation, which ensures that summer heat is moderated and nights remain pleasantly cool. The town is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and, in terms of its general climate, belongs to the “Bavarian Alps” climate region. The character of the weather is decisively determined by the local conditions—that is, by the influence of the mountain ranges and valleys on weather patterns. In addition to the natural conditions that ensure good air quality, we actively work to preserve the fresh mountain air by utilising natural heat and providing ample bus service.
