Bears & Smoky Mountain Wildlife
One of the best parts of staying in the Smokies is experiencing the area's incredible wildlife. While bear sightings are never guaranteed, they are a natural part of mountain life in the resort area.
For everyone's safety:
• Please place all trash in the bear-resistant containers provided.
• Never leave food, coolers, or garbage outside.
• Keep vehicle doors and windows closed and locked, as bears are known to investigate unattended cars.
Always admire wildlife from a safe distance and never feed or approach any animals.

Mountain Weather
Weather in the Smoky Mountains can change quickly, particularly during the fall and winter months. Snow, ice, or heavy rain may impact mountain roads.
For the safest travel experience during inclement weather, we strongly recommend traveling in an all-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive vehicle. No refunds will be provided for weather-related travel delays or road conditions outside of our control.

The Great Outdoors
Our cabin is nestled among the trees, allowing you to fully enjoy the beauty of the Smokies. Occasionally, seasonal insects such as ladybugs or other harmless bugs may find their way indoors, especially during changing seasons. While we regularly treat and maintain the property, these occasional visitors are simply part of staying in a mountain cabin.

Cleanliness
Your comfort is our top priority. The cabin is professionally cleaned and thoroughly sanitized before every arrival. Because we're surrounded by beautiful forests, you may occasionally notice a light layer of pollen or dust accumulate more quickly than in urban environments. We appreciate your understanding as this is simply part of the mountain experience.

Shoes Off, Please
To help preserve the cabin's beautiful flooring and carpeting, we kindly ask guests to remove their shoes upon entering. This simple step helps keep the home clean and comfortable for everyone.

No Smoking
Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside the cabin. Any evidence of smoking indoors will result in additional cleaning and deodorization fees to restore the home for future guests.

No Parties or Events
Better Together is intended to be a relaxing retreat for families and friends. Parties, events, or unauthorized gatherings are not permitted. We appreciate your help in treating the cabin with the same care and respect you would your own home so future guests can enjoy it just as much.
