Garding is the central starting point for beautiful bike rides. The wide sandy beaches of St. Peter-Ording are about a 10-minute drive away (approx. 11 km). A small shopping centre and the town centre, with restaurants and the “Lütt Matten” (musicians’ pub), are easily accessible. Every Tuesday, there’s a weekly market featuring regional products at the church and market square. During the summer months, numerous events take place in Garding—such as the “Musikantenbörse” with live music, the country women’s speciality market, and more.
