There are plenty of activities right nearby: Visit the “Bayerwald Tierpark” (550 m) or the “Kleine Arberseebahn” (approx. 750 m). Thanks to the location, you can explore the vast Lamer Winkel hiking trail network practically right at your doorstep. The nearby “Großer Arber” alpine ski resort is just a short drive or a free bus ride away. In winter, the “Lohberg-Scheiben” cross-country skiing centre (approx. 9 km) and “Bretterschachten” (approx. 21 km) are available free of charge. After your activities, relax at the “Osserbad” (approx. 4 km), which features a sauna and a relaxation room for a nap. The family pool also offers plenty of fun and games. Year-round activities include mountain hiking (approx. 300 km of hiking trails, approx. 400 guided tours annually), cycling, mountain biking, as well as a visit to the Osser Bad in Lam (4 km), horse-drawn carriage rides (1 km), and the ALPAKA TOUR in Arrach (8 km). In summer, the Seepark in Arrach (approx. 8 km) is a popular destination; in winter, cross-country skiing centers with toboggan runs, winter hiking trails, and guided snowshoe hikes await. After your adventures, the spacious, southwest-facing terrace of the new holiday rental (12/2023) invites you to soak up the sun and relax. You can choose between preparing your own dinner in the fully equipped kitchen or visiting the “Lux ud Fux” restaurant, which is within walking distance (approx. 450 m). The cosy living room with a lawn is perfect for snuggling up and watching TV in the evening. Alternatively, the puzzles, board games, and card games provided are perfect for entertainment before a well-deserved night’s sleep. The holiday apartment features two bedrooms—one with a double bed and one with two single beds—designed with a special focus on restful sleep through eco-friendly construction practices. Fly screens are installed on the bedroom windows. The apartment is located in a quiet residential area, shielded from outside noise and environmental radiation by solid exterior brick walls. The spacious rooms (approx. 85 m² total), featuring minimalist furnishings, hand-painted murals, solid-wood beds, and free parking in front of the house, invite you to linger. Payment is made on-site in cash or via advance bank transfer. Check-in is between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM; check-out is between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM. Other times are possible by arrangement. Keys are handed over in person via a key safe. One small, house-trained dog (up to 39 cm at the shoulder) is allowed. There is a flat fee of 25 EUR per stay. A travel cot can be provided free of charge. The visitor’s tax is 1 EUR per adult per night and 0.50 EUR per night for children ages 6 and older, payable on site.
