Carriage House - Historic Louden Hay Trolley + EV

Originally built in 1929 - this carriage house is on the National Historic Registry for the Louden Machinery Company who manufactured the hay trolley and other inventions which revolutionized the agricultural industry around the globe.

Our place features a one-of-a-kind vintage hay trolley display and other relics of the Louden Machinery company - all of which was forged right here in Fairfield, Iowa back in the early 1900’s just a few blocks from this location.

Comfortably sleeps 4 adults in 2 Bedrooms:
1 King Bed
1 Queen Bed

If you have more guests - please message me about our “Hay Loft” upstairs which features an additional Queen Bed and 2 Twin Beds and can sleep 4 more people.

Free street parking is readily available - but we walk almost everywhere.

The house was well furnished with great kitchen supplies, bedding, a great shower, and lovely interior decorations. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and the goats were very good at communicating.Highly recommend!
