The popular coastal town of Fuengirola with its 7 km long, flat sandy beach is a versatile vacation destination where you can not only enjoy the beach life, stroll from café to café and immerse yourself in the vibrant nightlife. One of the best things to do in Fuengirola, apart from going to the beach, is to stroll through the old town. You can also take a trip to the mountains and visit the white town of Mijas, drive past Benalmádena with its large harbor, eat delicious seafood in the old fishing village of La Carihuela, stroll through the old town of Torremolinos, hike through olive groves and orange groves and explore the coastal town of Málaga, the birthplace of Pablo Picasso. Also visit Carvajal beach, known for its dark sand and calm waters.
