Lovingly renovated half-timbered house with character and comfort

Do you like the charm of a half-timbered house and at the same time value comfort? Our chestnut house combines both under one roof! The house, built in 1901, has been lovingly renovated, furnished and offers plenty of space for 6-7 self-caterers on 160 sqm. It is located in the center of town on the R5 cycle route. The baker's wagon offers Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings the opportunity to buy fresh bread, bread, a newspaper, etc., and this can result in a chat with the neighborhood. Purchases for daily needs can be made in Cornberg or Sontra can be done. For the little holiday guests, Rockensüß offers a lovingly designed and well-kept playground about 400 m away from the holiday home.
Ground floor: washing, drying, ironing. Raised ground floor: kitchen with dining area, living and dining room, fireplace, double bedroom, shower room. 1. Upstairs: 2 double bedrooms, bathroom.

Liebevoll eingerichtetes Fachwerkhaus in ländlichem Idyll

Das liebevolle eingerichtete Fachwerkhaus in Rockensüß bei Cornberg liegt abgeschieden von jeglicher Hektik in einem kleinen Tal umringt von Feldern, blühenden Obstbäumen und Wald.Das Haus lässt von der Ausstattung her keine Wünsche offen. Ein besonderes Highlight ist der Billardtisch im Dachgeschoss!

Ist sehr angenehmes Haus, alles da was man braucht. Bücher ohne Ende , Spiele und Billard hat auch mal wieder Spaß gemacht. Der ganzen Familie hat es gut gefallen.

Alles gut!

Trotz der Lage am A... der Welt kann man erstaunlich viel sehen und erleben: Schöne Fachwerkstädte, die Wartburg, tolle Strecken (auch für Motorradfahrer) mit extrem wenig Verkehr. Das haus liegt in einem der vielen kleine Dörfer. Es ist sehr groß, sehr sauber und sehr gemütlich, die Vermieterin ist sehr nett. Alles in Allem, ein sehr gelungener Aufenthalt, dort kann mal noch einmal hin!!

Groot huis voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt (zeer goed uitgeruste keuken), fijne tuin, veel mogelijkheden in de buurt voor ontspanning. Zeer aardige gastvrouw, die het je echt naar de zin wil maken.

Das Haus ist sehr gut geeignet für bis zu drei Paare. Alles was für einen Aufenthalt benötigt wird, ist vorhanden. In der Bibliothek findet jeder etwas und es gibt viele kleine liebevolle Dekogegenstände.

Eine magisches Haus

Die Begrüßung war freundlich. Frau Auerswald ist eine liebenswerte Dame uns tritt sehr menschlich auf.Den Hund Berti habe ich auch gleich ins Herz geschlossen. Der andere Hund hat mich keines Blickes gewürdigt. Ich habe mich schon in der ersten Minute in der Kastanie sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war für mich ein Gefühl, als käme ich nach einer längeren Reise nach Hause. Als kulinarischer Selbstversorger habe ich kein Küchengerät vermisst. Es hatte sehr viel geregnet,also bin ich meinen Hobbys nachgegangen. Billard trainieren,kochen und basteln. Ich fand es schade,dass ich wieder abreisen musste. Habe mir fest vorgenommen, nächstes Jahr wieder zu kommen. Hoffentlich regnet es wieder. Die Kastanie gibt mir alles was ich brauche. Zeit um in mich zu gehen und Ruhe vom häuslichen Alltag...und natürlich Billard.

Tolles Haus, genau wie beschrieben!

Mein Vater, mein Hund und ich haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die liebe und herzliche Edith war immer zu erreichen und hat sofort geholfen. Der Clou ist der Billardtisch. Er ist wunderbar gepflegt und er steht in einem Raum in dem wir uns sehr gern aufgehalten haben. Die gemütliche Küche ist mehr als gut ausgestattet. Die Lage ist sehr ländlich aber wunderschön und super geeignet Fahrradtouren zu unternehmen oder zu wandern. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Der Ort ist klein und ruhig. Wir wurden durch das Haus geführt. Die Vermieterin war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Alles war wie beschrieben. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet und sauber. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne einmal wieder.

Actually this was our second choice, but man, was I wrong. Loved it, loved it, loved it(also the dogs did). We will be back and then for the full 3 weeks, at least, if Edith will have us :). Sehr angenehm, ruhig und entspannend. Für unsere Bedürfnisse genau das Richtige. Auch unsere Hunde (8 und 14 Jahre) konnten die Zeit relaxt genießen. Frau Auerswald ist sehr feundlich und eine wunderbare Gastgeberin. Es gibt gute Spazier- bzw. Wandermöglichkeiten, aber auch Ausflugsziele in direkter Umgebung (etwa ein Erlebnisbad oder Bad Hersfeld)

Wir waren wirklich sehr zufrieden mit diesem Ferienhaus. Es ist groß und geräumig und bietet einen tollen Essbereich. Bei einer Runde Billard im Oberen des Hauses konnten wir herrliche Stunden verbringen. Wir würden die Gastgeberin und die Kastanie jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

Schönes großes Fachwerkhaus mit tollem Billiardzimmer im Dachgeschoss. Man hat genügend Platz und die Umgebung lädt zu abwechslungsreichen Ausflügen ein. Die Vermieterin ist freundlich und hilfsbereit und wir haben ein paar schöne Tage verbracht.

Sehr schöner Ort, tolle Umgebung und wunderschönes Fachwerkhaus

Das Haus bietet alles, was man in einen Urlaub benötigt. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und im Wohnzimmer gibt es Raum für gemütliche Abende am Kamin. Die Schlafzimmer sind groß und die Betten sind sehr bequem. Im Dachgeschoss kann man eine schöne Runde Billard spielen. Tagsüber bietet die Umgebung viele Wandermöglichkeiten und es gibt auf dem Weg viele Äpfel und Pflaumen, damit man abends noch schnell frische Kuchen backen kann :).
