Welcome to The Thoroughbred Suite at The Butte House, a private two-bedroom retreat tucked inside Prineville’s historic Hudspeth Estate.

Set on five peaceful acres, The Butte House is a one-of-a-kind mid-century property where original character, fascinating local history, and comfortable accommodations come together. The Thoroughbred offers its own private entrance, two bedrooms, and a Jack-and-Jill bathroom, making it a great choice for families, couples traveling together, or anyone looking for a little more space.

The suite accommodates up to six guests and includes convenient in-room amenities such as a mini refrigerator, microwave, and single-serve coffee maker. Check-in is completely contactless, so you can arrive, settle in, and enjoy your stay at your own pace.

Outside your suite, you'll be surrounded by the character of the sprawling historic estate and its five-acre setting. The property is still being lovingly brought back to life, so guests may notice some of the quirks and ongoing projects that come with preserving a unique property of this age—we consider them part of The Butte House story.
