About this property

Spacious apartment over 2 floors in a central location with castle view, wallbox

Our tasteful holiday apartment is located on the first and second floors of the over 100 year old, completely renovated house. You enter the apartment via an external staircase which first leads to the cozy furnished terrace. On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms, each with a double bed (2x180 cm, 1x140cm) , a spacious living room and a bathroom with shower, bathtub and toilet. From the second floor you have a wonderful view to the old town of Saarburg, the two historic churches and the castle. Here you will find the fully equipped kitchen, the dining room, a comfortable lounge area and another fully equipped bathroom. You can then use a space-saving staircase to reach the upper area with a futon bed, an ideal place to sleep for 2 teenagers or young adults. This means that our beautiful holiday apartment can be used comfortably for up to 8 people. Washing machine and tumble dryer are available in a separate annex.

The holiday apartment includes two parking spaces. Charging you E-Car is possible up to 11 kW with our wallbox against separat payment of charging costs. Other public parking spaces are available nearby. You can safely store bicycles you bring with you in the lockable yard.

When you arrive you will be greeted with a bottle of water and the ingredients for your first coffee or tea, which you can enjoy with a wonderful view of Saarburg.

The holiday apartment is located in the Saarburg-Beurig district. The picturesque old town of Saarburg, with the beautiful waterfall, the medieval castle ruins, numerous boutiques and restaurants, can be reached on foot in a short time. The proximity to the train station offers you the opportunity to travel comfortably by train, and from here you also have the opportunity to visit Germany's oldest city Trier and the Saarland state capital Saarbrücken by train. A bus runs regularly from the train station to the neighboring country of Luxembourg with its capital of the same name. Luxembourg also offers you many interesting sights, as well as a shopping mile. You can explore our beautiful wine region on the Saar cycle path and on the numerous hiking tours.

Arrival is possible from 4:00 p.m., the apartment must be handed over by 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure. We speak German, English and French.

Palatial apartment in a lovely town

The apartment is huge -- it is two full floors. The amount of space we had for our party of 4 was almost ridiculous. It is also comfortable and well-appointed. We stayed in Saarburg as a convenient place to visit Luxembourg and Trier, so it was a pleasant surprise how much we enjoyed Saarburg itself. This rental was a highlight of our trip. Our host was kind, communicative, and hospitable.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in Saarburg. Famile Meyer ist sehr freundlich gewesen und die Wohnung wirklich sehr schön. Man sollte wissen, dass die Wohnung am Bahnhof gelegen ist und der ein oder andere Zug vorbeifährt. Wir haben aber so gut wie nichts davon mitbekommen. An der Saar ist man in 5 - 10 Minuten zu Fuß und die Innenstadt in weiteren ca. 10 Minuten. Jederzeit wieder.

Tolles Familienwochenende

Wir hatten ein tolles, verlängertes Familienwochenende in dieser sehr liebevoll gestalteten Ferienwohnung. Die Raumaufteilung ist etwas speziell, aber die Wohnung hat einen tollen Charme und überzeugt durch ihre Ausstattung und Sauberkeit. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war sehr unkompliziert und freundlich, vor Ort gab es viele Flyer und Informationen zur Umgebung und Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Für uns ein großes Plus: die Möglichkeit über eine Wallbox unsere E-Autos zu laden. Lage direkt hinterm Bahnhof, ca. 10 Minuten in die schöne Innenstadt von Saarburg, gute Anbindung mit der Bahn nach Trier oder Luxemburg. Wir können die Ferienwohnung in jedem Fall weiterempfehlen!

Perfekte Ferienwohnung in toller Lage – absolut empfehlenswert!

Wir haben die Ferienwohnung der überaus freundlichen und sympathischen Gastgeberfamilie in Saarburg mit 4 Erwachsenen und drei Teenagern über Silvester bezogen – und waren begeistert!Die Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet, außergewöhnlich sauber und bietet alles, was man für einen entspannten Aufenthalt braucht. Es hat uns wirklich an nichts gefehlt! Besonders die perfekte Lage hat uns überzeugt: Der Bahnhof liegt direkt vor der Tür, wobei die Züge keineswegs störend sind. Das charmante Zentrum von Saarburg erreicht man in nur 15 Minuten zu Fuß, und die Möglichkeit, einfach und kostenlos zu parken, ist ein weiterer Pluspunkt.Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit und kommen ganz sicher sehr gerne wieder! Schöner Wochenendtrip in Saarburg

Wir waren mit unseren erwachsenen Kindern mit Partner in dieser Wohnung. Diese erstreckt sich über 2 Stockwerke. Durch die großen, gemütlich eingerichteten Gemeinschaftsräume, gab es Möglichkeiten in einer tollen Atmosphäre zusammenzukommen. In der großen Küche war alles vorhanden, was für einen Aufenthalt benötigt wird. Mit der Wallbox klappte es wunderbar, sodass wir unser Auto immer laden konnten. Wir können diese Wohnung bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen.

Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön, wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Die Wohnung ist schön, sehr funktionell und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, mit Liebe zum Detail. Unser Highlight hatten wir in der letzten Nacht, als wir es geschafft haben, uns alle auszusperren. Die Besitzer kamen sofort (es war Mitternacht!) wie immer sehr freundlich und haben geholfen. Liebe ins Detail

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr liebevoll und bis ins Detail eingerichtet. Es ist alles Vorhand was man benötigt und man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Die Ferienwohung verfügt über eine kleine Terrasse mit Grill was perfekt für den Sommer ist. Die Lage ist super, denn man ist zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten in Saarburg oder mit dem Zug in Trier. Der Bahnhof liegt direkt gegenüber der Ferienwohnung was perfekt ist, allerdings hört man ab und zu vorbei fahrende Züge. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Die Wohnung ist riesig, die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Check in und out ist völlig unkompliziert. Lage, Ausstattung, Sauberkeit ist alles top! Der Bahnhof ist direkt gegenüber und man kommt super nach Trier. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Großartig!

Die Wohnung passt hervorragend zum Inserat, wir waren sogar positiv überrascht, wie großzügig die Räume sind. Toller Platz zum draußen sitzen und auch die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Selbst den Grill haben wir nutzen dürfen und wir hätten auch die Möglichkeit gehabt, die Außentoilette zu benutzen. Top!! Die Lage der Wohnung ist perfekt! Kurze Wege in die wunderschöne Innenstadt mit tollen Restaurants, zum Bahnhof ist es ein kleiner Katzensprung und bis zum Schiffsanleger keine 10 Minuten. Mit dem Zug ist man ruck zuck in Trier. Ein ganz herzliches Dankeschön an unsere Gastgeber: super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das hat unser langes Wochenende perfekt abgerundet!
