Le Cocon
This guest house is a cocoon in a 19th century farmhouse that has been completely renovated to give it a contemporary comfort while preserving the authenticity of the Longeres of Perigord.
Located on the peaks overlooking the Dordogne, the hamlet has a large communal garden and a fenced lawn with several garden furniture for convivial or private moments in the shade of the undergrowth. The property is surrounded by woodland to the foot of the hill, providing peace and quiet despite the hustle and bustle around Sarlat in summer, and where you can listen to the silence punctuated by the song of birds, cicadas or crickets, under a starry sky of breathtaking depth with no light pollution in the surrounding area.
The fairly large private property with four accommodations, all located in separate buildings that can only be used by one family at a time and are far enough apart to maintain everyone's privacy.
This holiday accommodation has a living room on the garden floor with a living room, closed fireplace, kitchenette and dining area. There is also a master bedroom with shower and WC. Upstairs there is a children's room and a small room with a washbasin, each with a double bed and therefore also suitable for older children. All our rooms are air-conditioned.
The guest house has its own south-facing terrace.
You share the glass canopy, the terrace in the courtyard of the farmhouse and the pool house (with living room, kitchenette and summer dining room next to the pool) with other holidaymakers, our family, our dogs and cats.
This accommodation offers access to our heated pool, which is secured by a flat, motorised enclosure and integrates a spa with a massage bench for 2 people at the end of the pool.
Please note that: Bed linen and towels are included in the room rate in 2025. Consumption costs are included in the room rate. Up to two pets are allowed. Outdoor heated pool on site shared with other guests.
